More Fouze Rumors: “Rider Switch!”, eh, could use some work.

With each passing week, we get closer to the end of OOO and to the start of Fouze. And rumors about this series have been popping up left and right about the 13th Heisei Rider. One of the newest, and maybe biggest of the rumors, is a facet of his Rider System called the “Rider Switch”. That, and the high school background.

To start out, Fouze is a high school student, and the background of the story is at a high school. It revolves around the school’s Occult club, whose three members and culb advisor have been investigating an urban legend about a “Kamen Rider”, and collecting Rider Switches for past Riders. When Fouze arrives, he already has five Fouze switches and four OOO switches. When Fouze has five Rider Switches, he can “metamorphose” into that Rider’s mode. He can access past Rider’s modes.

There are three types of switches, there’s the Rider Switch, which changes his body, the “Arms Switch”, which changes his armaments and weapons, and the “Vehichle Switch” which changes the bike and other support vehicles, which, if true, would be interesting, since they don’t really do anything with the vehicle anymore. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Kamen Rider series without an evil organization trying to collect the Rider Switches too.

For those of you still a little confused by how Fouze’s Rider Switch system is suppose to work, let me put it this way: he’s not suppose to work like Decade, he doesn’t outright change into past riders, it’s more like he uses elements from the past riders, like weapons or attacks, he may even take on a similar appearence. He has a base form, like Den-O’s Plat Form, and he uses the different switches from there.

And I would just like to reitarate that these are just rumors, that they could change at any minute, and that most of it could prove to be untrue. As we get closer to the official announcement, we could have a completely different story. For example, the last rumor post I put up included an sketch that is also rumored to be a new Metal Hero (check previous post). The only thing we know for sure is that he is the next Rider, there is a confirmed actress that will be starring in the series, and that Fouze will appear in the OOO summer movie!

And supposedly, the word “metamorphose” was used specifically to describe how the Rider Switch works. So maybe that has something to do with how his name is either pronounced or romanicized. I don’t know, but I think they’ll just end up going with “40”.

New Metal Hero??!!: Seriously, it’s been more than a decade, and you want to restart it now?

Seems like always, some rumors have been flying around the forums lately about new and upcoming series. But this one seems like a bit of a doosey. Supposedly, a new Metal Hero series is in the planning stage at the moment, but Toei currently denies having a new Metal Series in the works. There hasn’t been a new Metal Hero series since 1999, meaning that this would be the first in 12 years, or 13 years since the rumors say that it will premiere next year. Here’s a picture of what this new Metal Hero is suppose to look like:

Supposedly, this one’s name will be Tokkyu Keiji Jispector (Special Rescue Officer Jispector), and it would be the fourth rescue-hero themed Metal Hero after Exceedraft. For those of you unaware of what the Metal Hero Series is, it’s the collective name for many techno-themed toku heroes that came out in the early 80’s and into the mid-to-late 90’s. They were usually either cyborgs or people wearing electronic metal armor, and were some sort of sheriff or resue worker. Both VR Troopers and Beetleborgs were based of off Metal Hero series. But I have a feeling that if this is true, that Saban won’t try to adapt this one. You know, it’s funny, but this looks just like the sketch I posted before that was possibly Kamen Rider Fouze, which really makes me wonder if it’s real or not. Though I’ll admit, this one looks a bit more convincing.

Go-Kaiger Ep.16 Screenshots: I can be very lazy sometimes…

This time we have screen shots not only for the episode, but for Go-KaiSilver and from the trailer for the Go-Kaiger summer movie, Kaizoku Sentai Go-Kaiger THE MOVIE: The Flying Ghost Ship. Let’s jump to it!

The previous images were all from a preview of Go-KaiSilver before the show came. The following image are from the episode itself.

Yep, looks like he has more tricks up his sleeve. We’re not finished with Basco yet!

And here’s a preview of next week’s episode, where Go-KaiSilver finally makes his debut!

And finally, some images from the summer movie:

Okay, definitely NOT the Flying Dutchman, but still pretty creepy.

Revived grunts and an Evil Go-KaiOh, what more could you ask for?

For anyone considering buy this set, these would be very good sets to collect, they are very good movies. I would order copies for myself, but they are very expensive, and it’s a little less enjoyable to watch a movie when you can barely understand what they’re saying. I’m hoping that someone part of a video sub service will pick them up and sub them into english, it would be nice to watch the digitally remastered versions of these movies.
