Hurricanger to reunite in Go-Kaiger: Asanjou! [UPDATED]

Big news for Go-Kaiger! It looks like all three members of Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger will appear and reunite in the Go-Kaiger Hurricanger tribute episode!

Shioya Shun (Shiina Yosuke/HurricaneRed), Nagasawa Nao (Nono Nanami/HurricaneBlue), and Yamamoto Kohei (Bitou Kouta/HurricaneYellow) will all be returning in the Hurricanger tribute episode, where the Go-Kaigers will go up against Sandaru Jr. and Satorakura Jr., descendants of villains bearing the same name (I’m not familiar enough with Hurricanger to know who they were, sad to say). This will also be the episode where the Go-Kaigers recieve FuuRaiMaru as the Hurricanger’s Grand Power.

This is AWESOME! It will be the first time an entire sentai team will be reunited in the series. It might only be the three Hurricangers, but that’s how their series started. I’m sure sometime after this, a full five-man team (not intended to be a pun or spoiler) will pop up in a tribute episode, and from there, whole 6+ member teams will be making regular appearances. I know that’s just a wild, impossible-to-pull-off idea, but you never know what will happen with this series.

UPDATE: (7/27/11) Well, not only will the Hurricanger members be reuniting on Go-Kaiger, but they’ll also change into the Hurricangers!

That’s right, they’re not just going to be there, watching the others fight from the sidelines, they’ll be out there and fighting with Go-Kaiger as well.

And here’s the first real look at HurricaneGo-KaiOh.

As you can see, he mostly uses shuriken based attacks and finishers.

And this is the new Go-KaiMachine, FuuRaiMaru. By combining with him (and yes, it’s a him) they can form HurricaneGo-KaiOh.

No word yet on what episode this will be on, or when.

Go-Kaiger GoGoV Tribute Henshin: Titanium Ranger included?

Well, we have a very interesting video here, to say the least. It appears to be all six Go-Kaigers changing into the GoGoV members, including Go-KaiSilver. Take a look to see what I mean:

So is it true, have they included the Titanium Ranger as a member of GoGoV? Is he really GoSilver now? Or is this just a big, fake prank? I can’t say for sure (nor do I want to), so I’ll let you decide.

Reverse/Re:Birth PV: Solo Round!

Alright, the official music video for the Kamen Rider Birth character song “Reverse/Re:Birth” is out, a day before the official CD release of the song might add. Enjoy!:

This video is based off of the “Gotou solo” version of the song, which is why it primarily feautures Gotou singing and running around in his new outfit. If a version of this video featuring both of them singin and actively participating shows up, I’ll be sure to post it.

The single comes out tomorrow, July 27th, and will be available in either CD or CD+Music Video DVD editions.

Super Hero Time Next Week: Birthin’ babies and makin’ Greeed.

Here’s just a couple of things going over next week’s episodes of Go-Kaiger and OOO.

Yes, it will be the GoGoV tribute episode next week. GoRed and GoPink will both appear in the episode, and Basco will show up to give the Go-Kaigers more trouble.

In this episode of Kamen Rider OOO, the Greeed gang up and attack Eiji, Cazali is fully revived, and we finally get to see Gil/Giru.

Power Rangers Samurai Comic-Con Panel!

Alright, Comic-Con is over and done with, for now, but we’ll definitely be taking away a lot of stuff from it. There was a ton of super geeky news that came out of it, but who cares about any of that right now. Let’s skip ahead to the part you actually care about, the Power Rangers Samurai Comic-Con Panel!

First, here are a few shots taken during the panel:

And now, from the SabansPowerRangers channel on YouTube, here is the official video from the Power Rangers Samurai Origins Panel at Comi-Con!:

Alright, we can gather these three things from the Panel Discussion:

  1. They are, in fact, Power Rangers fans themselves.
  2. They do know about Shinkenger, and have seen enough of it to get a feel for it.
  3. Paul Shierer is amazing. Of course, we already knew that, but still.

Here’s to Power Rangers Samurai’s amazing appearance at this year’s Comic-Con! And here’s hoping for a similar appearance next year, no matter what kind of Rangers they may be.

Kamen Rider OOO Mega-Post!: So much information, so little time.

Alright then, this is a post for stuff about Kamen Rider OOO that I’ve been putting off for a while. Basically, we’re going to go over stuff from the most recent episodes, and from upcoming episodes, as well as a little movie news for OOO, so let’s get to it!

So, at the end of this week’s episode, after Ankh basically betrayed everyone, he revived Uva (a bit of a surprise move) and joined with the other Greeed. Next week, they will team up and go after Eiji, and that’s when their numbers will start to fall again. Here’s the general pattern for some of the upcoming episodes: a Greeed becomes fully revived, goes berserk, and then is defeated by OOO. So far, it’s been confirmed that Cazali will be first, followed by Mezool and Gamel (these are three separate episodes). No word on what will happen to either Ankh or Uva at this point. But all this talk about greed leads me to my next point:

This week’s episode also featured a brief but important scene where Eiji’s hand suddenly changed, showing the looming threat of Eiji becoming a Greeed himself. Everyone is worried about what could happen, so they turn to Kougami to see if he knows a way to stop the conversion.

In next week’s episode, he takes them down into the basement area of the Foundation building, where he shows Eiji and the others “the King’s Throne room”, which is filled with personal items that belonged to the king from 800 years ago, the original OOO. And there, he tells them the secret to freeing Eiji of the purple core medals and preventing him from becoming a Greeed: “DESIRE!”, or in Japanese, “YOKUBO!”

“Is that really all it would take?” Apparently so, Gotou.

Moving away from the show for a moment, we have a confirmed release date for the movie OOO DEN-O All Rider: Let’s Go, Kamen Rider! The movie is set to come out October 21st on Blu-Ray and DVD. Prices for the different versions of the move are listed above in the advertisement. You can also see listings for the OOO hyperbattle video, and for the HERO CLUB POWER RANGERS SPD DVD collection.

Moving back to the show, a pic of the new Greeed Gil or Giru has been leaked. This new Greeed is an extention of the purple core medals, though no word yet on who will become this new Greeed (Although it would be safe to assume that it’s Dr.Maki).

And in a final bit of general OOO news, there has been confirmation that OOO and Fourze will have a team-up movie this year, tenatively called Kamen Rider Movie Taissen 2011. Whatever it will formally be called, it will premiere on December 10th. Expect it to follow along the lines of the past to movie wars, where both Riders get a full-length movie, and then team-up for a ten-minute fight scene at the end.

Alright, that’s it for OOO news right now, as popular and unpredictalbe as this series has been, I have a feeling that something will pop up just in the next few hours. And if it doesn’t, you can still come back and see what has come up.

P.S., Did I forget to mention that Date might return in the next couple of episodes? 😉
