Kaizoku Sentai Go-Kaiger VS. Gavan?: Super Sentai/Metal Hero Team-Up of Epicness!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

This definitely on the very long list of things nobody saw coming from Go-Kaiger, assuming it’s true. According to some rumors, it looks like this year’s Sentai VS. movie won’t be about two Sentais, but about Go-Kaiger and the Metal Hero Uchuu Keiji Gavan. The title of course being Kaizoku Sentai Go-Kaiger VS. Gavan.

Supposedly, Ohba Kenji will star in the movie as his three biggest roles in tokusatsu; as Ichijouji Retsu/Gavan, as Akebono Shiro/Battle Kenya of Battle Fever J, and as Oume Daigoro/DenjiBlue of Denjiman. That sounds like the most awkward meet-up ever. 😛

And while this is just a rumor, the movie will likely coincide with the 30th Anniversary of the Metal Hero series, and it seems that Gavan and Doggie Kruger/DekaMaster are friends, at least according to the pamphlet for the Go-Kaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Heroes movie. So this one could be up in the air. Or it could be a giant hoax. Either way, both of these are great shows, and a team-up between the two would be awesome.

Go-Kaiger October Episode Summaries: Who here’s dressing as a pirate for Halloween?

Hey, we have the latest batch of episode summaries for Go-Kaiger, and it looks like we’ll be getting some really good episodes down the pipeline. If you don’t believe me, then check it out for yourself:

Episode 32: Chikara wo Hitotsu ni (Combine Our Powers) – (10/02) Gai and the others were injured by the true form of Basco. Hakase decides to create a new weapon, borrowing everyone else’s weapons in the process. He continues development on the weapon, but it is only ending in failure.

Furtheremore, the Action Commander Shieldon, who can repel any attack with his shield, appears. Although this only causes Hakase to worry more, he gets a hint from the words of Gai and Goro Hoshino, and is able to complete the GalleonBuster at last!

Episode 33: Hero Daaaa! (I’m a hero!) – 10/09
Gai’s GokaiCellular is swallowed by the new Action Commander, Zakyura. Gai can neither transform, or fight… The worrying Gai runs into a Delivery Man from a Chinese Restaurant. He turns out to be none other than the former Ryuuranger, Tenkasei Ryou!

Episode 34: Yume wo Kanaete (Dream Comes True) – 10/16/11
Luka’s childhood friend and businessman, Cain, will make an appearance in this episode. Action Commander Onenine appears. Furthermore, “Fulfill My Dream, Dynaman” was Kagaku Sentai Dynaman’s ending theme.

Yuki Kimisawa who previously played Kamen Rider W’s Kirihiko Sonozaki aka Nasca Dopant will play the role of Luka’s childhood friend.

Episode 35: Jigen no Mukou (Dimension on the Other Side) – 10/23 The Gaiark officer, Chirakashizuki appears.

Episode 36: Aibou Kaizoku (Parter Pirate) – 10/30
In front of the Gokaiger appeared a mysterious robot, whose name was Bonper! Former Go-OnRed, Esumi Sosuke, appears. The Gokaigers end up taking on Chirakashizuki and another Gaiark officer, Babaachuudo, to stop their attack on the Gunman World. However, the Gokaiger fall into a Gaiark trap! There hope lies in… Engine Machalcon!

It is also confirmed that Engine #13: Machalon will be voiced by Hiroaki Hirata, best known for his role as Sanji of One Piece, and Wild Tiger of Tiger & Bunny.

So, two tribute episodes, and a look into Luka’s past? This is going to be quite the month for the Go-Kaigers!

And it looks like the fun’s not stopping there! We have three more rumored episode summaries for November, and they include two more tribute episodes, and a look into Ahim’s past. Let’s take a look:

Episode 39: Megaranger Tribute Episode
The Gokaigers disugise themselves as high school students and enter Moroboshi High. Guest Starring Ooshiba Hayato as Kenta Date aka MegaRed.

Episode 40: Timeranger Tribute Episode

Episode 41: Not Tribute

End of September, Start of October Update: Does anybody know where I can find an adult-sixed Samurai Ranger costume for Halloween? :P

Ah, nothing quite like the start of October. The Fall weather is starting to kick in, the days become noticably shorter, and the end of the month marks the real start of the holiday season (at least in the U.S.). But for toku fans, the start of the month means more news and rumors for current and upcoming shows and movies. And this October, we have quite the pickings. From Go-Kaiger just plain being awesome to Fourze proving himself, to even some new Power Rangers Samurai episodes and specials, it looks like this month is going to be pretty exciting for toku fans. Can’t wait to get started!

But before we get started with last month, I just want to take a minute to go over last month. Basic stats: we had a total of 23747 visits last month, with an average of 935 visits a day. And we had our best day on the 4th (premiere of Kamen Rider Fourze), with 1448 visits. And all because I was crazy enough to post episode videos on the blog (and I have no idea how I’m getting away with it). I must admit, though, the weekly totals has been see-sawing somewhat. I’m trying to run this blog while going to college full-time on an erratic schedule, so unfortunately I haven’t been able keep up with the news as well as I did over the last few months. If those numbers are a reflection of that, then my apologies to everyone for any inconvenience. Keep in mind though that I am the only one working on this blog, and since I’m a real person with real problems who does this in his spare time, just can’t always expect to find a ton of new posts everyday.

That being said, I would like to thank everyone who has visited the blog over the last month. You’re the reason I keep doing this, and I just can’t seem to thank you enough. So (thank you)x10^12! That’s thank you a trillion times! Mathematics is fun! 😛

To another exciting month!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a ton of overdue posts to write!
