New Samurai Toy Spottings: Blurring the lines between the Holiday Season and Season 2.

Since the new toy line announcement last week, people have started to see the new spring line pop up in stores just in time for the holidays (like that was an accident). Here’s some of the new toys that are on the shelves now (depending on where you live/shop), found by various users on Rangerboard.

First, from Toys’R’Us, we have this new Lantern/Spiderzord with a Super Gold Ranger figure:

Yeah, not sure where they came up with the spider concept either, but we have a Lantern zord now.

And here’s a few pics from Rangerboard member TheReverend7, which he took at his local Wal-Mart in Abilene, TX:

And this is what he took home:

And here’s a video demonstrating how it works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wsbkt5QpZI

And these next pics were taken by SPDRed222 at a Toys’R’Us in Cincinnati, OH:

And finally, we have a few pics from deadsilence1, from both a Wal-Mart in Brownville, TX and a Target in McAllen, TX:

So, have you seen any of these new toys in your local stores?

Go-Kaiger December Episode Summaries: The Hero Finally Rises!

Alright, new episode summaries are up for Go-Kaiger for this month, and this month we’ll get to see Ahim in action, Don’s heroic side, and their own little Christmas episode. Let’s make this Christmas-y!:

Episode 41: What I Don’t Want to Lose – 12/4
Aboard the Gigant Horse, the Emperor’s Elite Guards appear, heralding the arrival of the leader of the Zangyack Fleet, Emperor Akudos Gil, on Earth. With the express mission of defeating the Gokaiger, the Elite Guard Zatsurigu departs.

While Joe, Gai, and Aihm are out and about, they encounter Zatsurigu. When Aihm sees him, she looses her usually calm composure, entering into a violent fight with the monster.
What is the connection between Ahim and Zatsurigu? Don’t miss it!

Episode 42: The Strongest Man in the Universe – 12/11
To defeat the Gokaiger, Damaras finally makes comes to Earth, personally.

At the same time, Aihm stumbles upon a magazine article that talks about the “Hero, Don Doggoier”, and how he had gone missing. “Huh?! Hakase is a Legendary Hero?!” Could Hakase’s memory really have been lost? The Gokaiger try and see if eating delicious food will cause Hakase to remember something.

Then Damaras appears, with Basco as his right hand man, calling out Marvelous and the others. The Gokaiger’s Greatest Pinch is here!

Episode 43: To the Legendary Hero – 12/18
With little effort, Damaras effectively attacks the Gokaiger and beats all but Hakase, who is now aboard the GokaiGalleon alone.

Marvelous is taken captive, sentenced to a public execution in front of the people of Earth, as an example. “Alone…it’s impossible” is what Hakase mutters, about to give up…

What was the reason behind Hakase becoming a pirate? How can he defeat Damaras all by himself? The fight is about to Heat Up! Everyone, they need your support, we’re counting on you!

Episode 44: N/A – 12/25
Luka and Gai arrive at a place where children are decorating a Christmas Tree. There, Action Commander Bibaboo appears, and starts turning people into dolls! A boy they meet is also turned into a doll, and then Gai himself is turned into a doll, sacrificing himself in place of a young woman!

Left alone to fight, what is Luka to do? Can Gai and the others be returned to normal? “Protect Everyone’s Christmas!” Don’t miss it!

More Gobuster Scans: No big spoilers here, just more toy news.

Hey, some more scans from the same catalogue that the Gobuster reveal came out of. There’s no big spoilers this time, just some cool stuff that will be available when they start releasing toys for it. Let’s see what else will be available in the next few months:

This is a chart explaining the combination and transformation sequence to create Gobuster-Oh (I think). This is how they combine:

  • Rabbit forms both arms, backs of the fist are the helicopter cockpit, forms the head, and other parts
  • Gorilla forms both legs and body armor
  • Go-BusterAce has clear sunglasses over his eyes
  • Gorilla’s head attaches to the chest, Rabbit’s to the right shoulder, Cheetah’s to the left shoulder

Not sure what anything after that says.

RedBuster/Chida Niku set:
130mm figure of RedBuster, and a figure of Chida Niku that transforms into his bike/cockpit mode.

Ranger Key Series Ride and Go:
Minicars that go when reved up, and a Ranger Key inserted. 4 kinds are  listed so far. Red Buster Key w/Buster Machine Cheetah, BlueBuster Key  with Buster Machine Gorilla, GokaiRed Key with GokaiGalleon, and GokaiSilver Key with GojyuuDrill.

Super Sentai Best 01:
Sofubi figure set consisting of GoseiRed, ShinkenRed, GokaiRed, AkaRed, Go-onRed, and GekiRed

Uchuu Keiji Gavan Figure: 175 mm figure of Gavan.

And this is just the standard top game/character watch release that comes out with almost every Sentai series nowadays.

And that’s all of them, for now. If anything else comes out, I’ll let you know!
