New Climax Heroes Fourze Reveals: Wait, there’s more?

Hey everybody! We’ve got some new info on the upcoming game Kamen Rider Climax Heroes Fourze, straight from the official Namco Bandai site. These newly revealed game features include:

  • Kamen Rider Fourze Elec States have access to the other switches too.
  • In the trailer, we saw a narration when Amazon did his Daisetsudan explaining the attack. This will be in the game for the Showa Characters specials.
  • Jōji Nakata (OOO Narrator) and Nobuyuki Hiyama (Fourze Narrator) will be doing the voice for the narration parts, you will be able to choose one of them but having it is completely optional.
  • There are still characters that were not revealed and we need to look forward to them.
  • You always have Rocket, Drill, Launcher and Radar and you choose four other switches, one for each limb, before battle.
  • Fourze Fire States is pretty much confirmed. On Elec’s section it says that Fourze also has another/other state change and there is one more ??? box in that section for something Fourze specific.

Wow, this is a suprisingly big game. Where will they find room for all of those things AND a host of unrevealed new characters?  We’ll just have to wait to see what they come up with.

BTW, Which narrator would you prefer to listen to in the game?

Kamen Rider Fourze New States: Magnets, Double Rockets, New Switches, and Bigger Heads.

Hey, it looks like Fourze’s getting two new States soon, and we’ve got the pics to prove it. Here’s a first look at the upcoming Magnet and Double Rocket States!

First up, the Magnet State:

This is the rumored state with the even-bigger head. It’s ctivated by using the #30 Magnet N Switch and the #31 Magnet S Switch at full power in conjunction with the NS MagPhone (pictured below). As you can see, in this state Fourze get’s a bigger head, gun turrets on his shoulders (that combine into a big magnet), and the orange Thermo Registyle turns red and blue. Also revealed on this page are the #28 Hand Switch (left leg) and and the #26 Wheel Switch (right leg).

And next we have the Double Rocket State:

This State, which is set to debut in the MEGAMAX movie, is powered by the S-1 Astro Switch, which activates the Super-1 Rocket Modules, which adds a rocket to both arms, and gives Fourze an orange form.

So far it hasn’t been revealed how he attains this form, or if it will carry over into the series.

And finally, we have some new Foodroids and new Astro Switches that should come out around the same time:

Here in this new crop of Foodroids we have: Foodroid 04 Holwankof (the hotdog), which uses the #29 Scoop Switch, Foodroid 05 Softonya (the ice cream cone) which uses the #32 Freeze Switch, and Foodroid 06 Nagejaroika (the boxed lunch with the meat kabobs) which uses the #37 Gyro Switch. Quite the menu selection, isn’t it? 😛

Anyway, that’s all of the new Fourze stuff for now. It anything els pops up, I’ll let you know (hopefully, it won’t be two dats after the fact).

Scans Galore!: Fourze Fire State, MEGAMAX News, Go-Kaiger and Go-Kaiger Vs. Gavan major reveals!

Whoa, where did all of these come from? A major number of scans have surfaced, revealing quite a lot about upcoming episodes and movies for Go-Kaiger and Fourze. This includes a look at Fourze’s Fire State, some reveals for the MEGAMAX movie (including another new Rider!), the official reveal of Kanzen Go-KaiOh, and our first look at the upcoming movie Go-Kaiger Vs. Gavan. This… is that information overload they warned you about.

First up, we have a look at Fourze’s Fire State:

The Kamen Rider Fourze Fire State will debut in episode 9, “Awakening of the Witch”. It’s unlocked with the #20 Fire Switch, and he gains both a new form and a new Module, the Hi-Hack Gun.

The Hi-Hack Gun has two modes: the first mode shoots out flames, and the second mode emits a strong fluid capable of extinguishing flames. His finisher with the Hi-Hack Gun is called “Rider Exploding Shot”.

And along with the reveal of the Fire State, 3 new Astro Switches have also been introduced. They are #17 Flash, #18 Shield, and #19 Gatling. All three are shown in the picture above, along with three new Zodiarts (two of which are the fully revealed Leo and Virgo Zodiarts).

Next up, we have new info on the upcoming movie Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Fourze and OOO Movie Wars MEGAMAX, which also reveals a new movie Rider, Kamen Rider Aqua!:

Epic three-way henshin is EPIC.

Anyway, that’s the complete roster of Riders for the movie, which includes Nadeshiko and this new Rider. They’ve all teamed-up to take on a new breed of evil!

And this image features the Fourze’s and Nadeshiko’s team-up, using a Double Rocket Rider Punch against the Virgo Zodiart. And on the right, every evil group and or/ organization from the last three series seems to be meeting up with each other, I guess in a team effort to take out all the Riders (hence W fighting a Hounds Zodiart in the bottom-right corner).

And here’s a three-page pull-out featuring this new Rider, Kamen Rider Aqua. According to the scan, Aqua is also Minato Miharu, and also from the future. Essentially, Aqua and Poseidon are different versions of each other, one good, one evil. And Aqua’s personal vehicle is a jet ski called the “Aqua Miraider”.

And we have one last scan for Fourze, which was almost missed!:

In this pic, which talks about Fourze starting off the New Year, has two very interesting components to it. Namely, the two shadowed figures on the left side. One appears to be Fourze with TWO Rockets, possibly in a new yet-to-be-announced State, and the other could possibly be the next Rider for the series (after Nadeshiko). Exciting stuff, no?

Anyway, that’s everything for Fourze, now onto Go-Kaiger!

And right away, we get our first loolk at Kanzen Go-KaiOh!

And it looks like Zangyack will be stepping up their game as well. This is the Great Waltz, Zangyack’s “Mightiest Warship”, given to Walz Gil be his father, Emperor Ackdos Gil. It will premiere in Ep.37.

Luckily, the Go-Kaigers will have this to fight it with! A combination of Go-KaiOh and Go-JyuJin (with Engine Machalcon), they’re able to create this combination using their own Grand Power(!), “the power to take hold of their dreams”. But will it be enough to defeat this new weapon?!

And it looks like Joe and Barizog’s final battle is coming soon. Will Joe find a way to save his friend and former teacher Sid? Or will he have to destroy him?

And in this scan, we have both our first look at the Emperor Ackdos Gil, and our first look at Go-Kaiger Vs. Gavan. So what plans will the Emperor have for our favorite pirates? And why is the only bit of promotional material for the upcoming movie just an old picture of Gavan with his Laser Blade? O?O

And in this final scan, we see the official announcement for a new Telebi-Kun Go-Kaiger DVD special! In this new special, Marvelous and Gai fuse together, and have to fight, changing into all of the previous Red Senshi, leading up to the appearance of Go-KaiRed Gold Mode! No release date for the special has been anounced yet.

And there’s all of the scans. Sorry this is so late, unfortunately I have to be a full-time college student, and certain assignments will end up taking priority over blog-related stuff. Hate to have to leave you guys out in the cold, but that’s just how it has to be. Don’t worry though, more poss are coming soon, so keep checking back in!

Climax Heroes Fourze New Finishers Announced: Breaking the Limits of Gameplay!

Hey, the recent issue of Dengeki Magazine revealed aome new info on the upcoming game Kamen Rider Climax Heroes Fourze. This new info deals with new Switches for Fourze, Elek State playability, and new finishers for old characters. How many more ways can they make this game even more EPIC?!

First up, we’ve got confirmation that Fourze’s Elek State will be a playable character in the game. This newly added State will go along with a total of eight other Switches, four of which are usable and described here:

  • Rocket: Uses the rocket’s jet propulsion to fly across the screen towards the opponent and punch him.
  • Launcher: Shoots missiles. If you use it together with Radar, the missiles gain homing properties.
  • Hopping: Makes moving around difficult.
  • Drill: Drastically improves kick power and lets you use a special in-game kick with Fourze.

The other four Switches, Radar, Magic Hand, Camera, and Chainsaw, have so far only been seen in the CGI Artwork.

And it looks like other characters that had been previously introduced in Climax Heroes OOO will be getting new finishers. They include:

  • G3-X: GX Launcher Perfect Marksmanship
  • Kaixa: Gold Smash
  • Gatack: Rider Kick
  • Kick Hopper: Rider Jump and Kick
  • Punch Hopper: Rider Jump and Punch
  • Nega Den-O: Nega Wild Shot
  • Garren: Burning Divide

Currently, there’s no word on any other “unfinished” characters getting new finishers.

Kamen Rider Climax Heroes Fourze will be released this December for the PSP and Wii for 5981 yen.

Kamen Rider Fourze Scans: New States, New Switches, and New Riders!

New scans time, which means a new look at what’s coming down the road. And for Fourze, that means the in-show reveal of his Elek State, a look at some new Astro Switches, and some very interesting Movie Wars MEGAMAX news. So let’s get this post in the air!

First, we have a massive pile of scans for Fourze’s Elek state, but no big reveals about it. You can look over them anyway:

Oh, so that’s how he changes into his Elek State. Mystery solved. 😛

And with that, we can move onto the new Switches!

These are all Switches set to be revealed in October. From No.11-16, we have:

  • Astro Switch 11 – Scissors
  • Astro Switch 12 – Beat
  • Astro Switch 13 – Chain Arrays
  • Astro Switch 14 – Smoke
  • Astro Switch 15 – Spike
  • Astro Switch 16 – Winch

Here’s the new switches in action:

And next, we have a shaded pic of Fourze’s Fire State, which uses an unkown red Switch, and is equiped with the Hi-Hack Gun Module.

Now that we’ve covered that, let’s deviate slightly for bit and talk about this scan:

Yep, looks like JK got into the KRC too, but Kengo seems to be very upset about it.

And finally, we have scnas featuring two new Riders for the Movie Wars MEGAMAX!

On the left we have Kamen Rider Nadeshiko, who will be in the Fourze part of the movie, and on the left we have Kamen Rider Poseidon, who will appear in the OOO part of the movie. Not much has been revealed about Poseidon, other than the alternate version of the OOODriver he wears, and his unique Core Medals which feature sea creatures (no confirmed identities of the Core Medals themselves). However, we have learned quite a bit about Nadeshiko.

Nadeshiko is a high school student that wants to work with Fourze. And she becomes a romantic interest for Gentaro, who will apparently fall in love with her. I guess they’re covering the “teen romance” base with this character. No word on whether or not she’ll appear in the series. And as you can see, she sports a more retro-looking spacesuit outift, with a blue version of the FourzeDriver that only has two slots for the arms.

This scan also confirms the rumors that the Fourze part of the movie will take place during the Amanogawa Sky High Festival.

Well, that’s all for Fourze news, if anything else pops up, I’ll be sure to let you know.

Kamen Rider Fourze Astro Switches 11-15 Revealed: And people think hacking is a bad thing…

Not a lot of new info has come out about Fourze merchandise since the series premiered, but someone has managed to hack a Ganbaride machine, and thanks to them we now know the names of Astro Switches 11-15! Here’s what they are:

  • Astro Switch 11 – Scissors
  • Astro Switch 12 – Beat
  • Astro Switch 13 – Chain Arrays
  • Astro Switch 14 – Smoke
  • Astro Switch 15 – Spike

And, at least according to Ganbaride, Astro Switches 12 and 13 can be used together in a combo finishers, similar to RocketDrill, or Magic Hands and Hopping.

And here are three videos demonstrating these new Astro Switches in action:

And that’s it for Fourze news. If anything else pops up, I’ll be sure to let you.

Fourze Episode Summaries: Queens, Chameleons, and Fourze Hopping about!

Episode 2 is out of the way, now let’s check out the newest episode summaries for episodes 3 and 4, a.k.a. the Queen Festival arc:

Episode 3: Queen Election – 09/18
After setting up the Kamen Rider Club, Kengo is adjusting the Astro Switches so they currently cannot be used. Gentaro decides to test the adjusted switch — #9 Hopping. Yuki is worried but Gentaro ignores her. Fourze’s left leg turns into a pogo stick, he stepped out very excitedly, but to his surprise he cannot control it and crashes to the walls and the ceiling.

Gentaro walks dizzily to the classroom, he notices Miu’s poster on the wall… At the time, the Queen’s Festival is held at school. Everyone thinks that Miu will be chosen. However, Gentaro offers that if she fails they’ll have to become friends.

Episode 4: N/A – 09/25
Every year the Amanogawa High School has a poll to choose the most beautiful girl in the school, and Miu has taken it every year. As the most thrilling moment comes, the Chameleon Zodiart attacks Miu.

For those of you wondering, yes, there is a chameleon constellation. And Fourze is turning out to be less of a Swiss Army knife and more like Inspector Gadget with an space slant.

UPDATE: (9/11/11) Here’s the preview for next week’s episode:

Fourze FourzeDriver vid: How many switches can you count?

The FourzeDriver has already been released in Japan, and there are a number of videos up from Japanese reviewers. Here’s one from a reviewer that I happened to be subcribed to:

So, what can we learn from this video? First, we learn that the Astro Switches themselves don’t make any sounds, I think I read somewhere that they use a set if internal switches (so… many… switches) to tell the FourzeDriver which one is plugged in. So with this, you only need to worry about replacement batteries for the Driver itself. Second, we see that the Driver actually does a lot of things, makes a lot of noises, flashes a lot of lights. You can see all the extra steps they took to beef up the interactivity with the new belt. And finally, we’ve now learned that the power build-ups in Fourze are referred to as “Red Break!’s”, like “Scanning Charge!” in OOO or “Maximum Drive!” in W. How’s that for an exclusive look?

Well anyway, that’s it for Fourze news at the moment, if anything else pops up (which I’m assuming will happen very soon because Fourze will have started by the time this post is published), I’ll be sure to let you know.

Kamen Rider Fourze News, Rumors, and Episode Summaries: Classes start this Sunday!

We’re just days away from the start of the new series, Kamen Rider Fourze! And news and rumors about this new series have been flying around in every direction. Here are a few of the current things floating around today.

First we have some updated episode summaries for the first three episodes. Here’s what the first day at a new school is like for a Kamen Rider:

Episode 1: Youth Transformation
Gentaro is transferred to the Amanogawa High School Year 2 Class B, he wants to make friends to everyone. A message about a bomb is put up on the bulletin board, the queen – Miu, and the football captain have their eyes on everyone.

The Orion Zordiart, a mysterious monster, appears and runs wild in the school and attacks the leader of the American Football Club. Kengo confronts the monster, but is knocked off and is in danger. His classmate rides a giant machine to fight the monster. Kengo decides to gamble and hands Gentaro the switches and he transforms to Kamen Rider Fourze.

Episode 2: Space, First Class
Gentaro has transformed into Kamen Rider Fourze, but the  Orion Zodiart has escaped. Kengo tells Gentaro that handing him  the Fourze Driver was an ‘urgent measure’, and that using it is only a  temporary thing. To let himself to be part of the gang, Gentaro tries to  search for him, but he can’t find a single trace since he’s new to the  school.

Later, Gentaro is taken to outer space through the magical locker, Rabbit Hatch. Gentaro decides to protect his school and creates the Kamen Rider Club.

Episode 3: N/A
Kengo is adjusting the Astro Switches so they currently cannot be used. At the time, the Queen’s Festival is held at school. Everyone thinks that Miu will be chosen. However, Gentaro offers that if she fails they’ll have to become friends.

While Gentaro searches for an opponent, an invisible monster starts to attack the contestants.

Next up, we have some info on upcoming Astro Switches, No.06-09 to be exact.:

  • Chainsaw Switch (Triangle, 8)
Has a powerful engine that can rotate the blade up to 15000 rounds per minute.
  • Parachute Switch (Square, 7)
Inside the square box, there are 3 parachutes, Fourze can land safely from the sky.
  • Camera Switch (Square, 6)
Has high sensitivity and view far distances, it can also receive data from the environment nearby.
  • Hopping (Triangle, 9)
Can significantly increase the jumping height, from 20m to 40m.

And the first Foodroid has officially been revealed. Yay! Anyway, his name is BurgerMeal, and he is a surveilance robot. While in food mode, he maintains the shape of a hamburger. But when activated by the Camera Astro Switch 06, he enters into Lloyd mode (named for the type of robot it resembles) where it can collect data, act as a surveliance device, and take pictures from the air, and send all of it back to the Rabbit Hutch. Not bad, Wall-E Jr.

We also have some info on the Rabbit Hutch, the moon base where the FourzeDriver was created, and how it’s connected to the lockers in the school.

The Rabbit Hutch is part of a greater organization called OSTO (Over Space Technology Organization), a group that so far has only been referenced, and not directly talked about (hopefully it won’t be another Kougami Foundation, you can only use the whole “shadowy organization working for itself and inadvertantly helping the bad guys” thing ever now and then). This is the moon base where Kengo’s father invented the FourzeDriver and the Astro Switches, and where the other tools and weapons Fourze uses were developed. The base is connected to the Kengo’s locker through the power of the Astro Switches (which means they haven’t revealed a more detailed explanation for how it works). Even though the base is on the moon, the base itself has the same gravity as Earth.

Next we have info on the first three elite Zodiarts, and the lizard one on the end. The Zodiart “bosses” that have been revealed are the Virgo, Leo, and Libra Zodiarts. There are going to be 12 boss Zodiarts in all, based on the 12 constellations of Zodiac. One of the upcoming lower rank Zodiarts revealed so far has been the Chameleon Zodiart, which can become invisible or camouflage itself to blend into it’s surroudings. I didn’t know there was a chameleon constellation, did you?

And finally, we have a sneak peak at Fourze’s Electric State, or Elek State as it was begin called during the toy announcements. I know it’s been shaded, but it still looks cool, a little bit better than it did in the illustrations for the “Billy the Rod” Module.

Anyway, that’s it for Fourze stuff right now. Since we are so close, I would expect to see something for it every day leading up to the premiere, and I definitely expect to tidal wave of news and rumors after the premiere. Can’t wait!
