Ninjaman Returns?!: What does the jar reveal?

Of the many Sentai heroes and warriors that fought in the Legend War, one that was noticably missing for long-time Sentai fans was a certain blue ninja of Kakuranger fame by the name of Ninjaman. For the MMPR generation, you know him as Ninjor, the one that gave the Rangers (and the Alien Rangers before them) their Ninja Powers in the TV series (sorry, the movie explaination doesn’t count). Part of the reason fans have complained about him not being included in the Legend War was because there were other Extra Senshi similar to Ninjaman who were there and in on the action. So what happened to Ninjaman? Well, we thought we had the answer before, when these translations from the 199 Heroes movie pamhplet came out:

  • There was actually a great battle with many of the Sentai giant robots against the Zangyack’s fleet.
  • The robots were destroyed/defeated and that’s where the movie picks up from at the start.
  • Ninjaman and Datas probably fought in the giant battle but ended up becoming inoperable/unable to fight. Note it is possible that Ninjaman was sealed back in the jar following the events of the legend war.
  • Ohranger’s Gunmajin may have fought, but since he is so fickle, maybe not (laughs).
  • Zuban survived that battle and that’s why he was still fighting in the war in what we see in the movie.
  • In the movie, we’re only told Gokaiger takes place “a few years later” but it’s approximately 3 years. The only hint of that in the movie is Nozomu’s school uniform indicating he is in Grade 8 now.

But now it looks like that might not have been the whole story, at least not according to this screen shot from the latest episode of Go-Kaiger:

So what is this ominous, shadowed jar suppose to be? Well, almost everyone has speculated that this is the jar that Ninjaman was sealed in a millenium before the events of Kakuranger, and that most likely Ninjaman is still contained inside. or those that need further proof of this, take a look at this comparison to the scene below from Kakuranger:

So then, did Domon send them out to protect the Megakure shrine knowing that the jar was there? And if that really is Ninjaman’s jar, does that mean that Ninjaman is the key to gaining Kakuranger‘s Grand Power?

And if so, then what about the persistent rumors that the original Ninjaman suit is lost? Supposedly, there was only one suit made, and when Toei lended it to Saban for MMPR season 3, Saban lost the suit. Not sure if I believe that rumor, mostly because they would have had to make several suits for stunts and back-ups anyway. But they’ve been floating around for a while, so there.

Also worth noting for those of you unfamiliar with Kakuranger mythos, the reason Ninjaman was sealed away in the jar was because he was fooled by Daimaou into attacking humans, and was sealed away as punishment.

Scans Galore!: Fourze Fire State, MEGAMAX News, Go-Kaiger and Go-Kaiger Vs. Gavan major reveals!

Whoa, where did all of these come from? A major number of scans have surfaced, revealing quite a lot about upcoming episodes and movies for Go-Kaiger and Fourze. This includes a look at Fourze’s Fire State, some reveals for the MEGAMAX movie (including another new Rider!), the official reveal of Kanzen Go-KaiOh, and our first look at the upcoming movie Go-Kaiger Vs. Gavan. This… is that information overload they warned you about.

First up, we have a look at Fourze’s Fire State:

The Kamen Rider Fourze Fire State will debut in episode 9, “Awakening of the Witch”. It’s unlocked with the #20 Fire Switch, and he gains both a new form and a new Module, the Hi-Hack Gun.

The Hi-Hack Gun has two modes: the first mode shoots out flames, and the second mode emits a strong fluid capable of extinguishing flames. His finisher with the Hi-Hack Gun is called “Rider Exploding Shot”.

And along with the reveal of the Fire State, 3 new Astro Switches have also been introduced. They are #17 Flash, #18 Shield, and #19 Gatling. All three are shown in the picture above, along with three new Zodiarts (two of which are the fully revealed Leo and Virgo Zodiarts).

Next up, we have new info on the upcoming movie Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Fourze and OOO Movie Wars MEGAMAX, which also reveals a new movie Rider, Kamen Rider Aqua!:

Epic three-way henshin is EPIC.

Anyway, that’s the complete roster of Riders for the movie, which includes Nadeshiko and this new Rider. They’ve all teamed-up to take on a new breed of evil!

And this image features the Fourze’s and Nadeshiko’s team-up, using a Double Rocket Rider Punch against the Virgo Zodiart. And on the right, every evil group and or/ organization from the last three series seems to be meeting up with each other, I guess in a team effort to take out all the Riders (hence W fighting a Hounds Zodiart in the bottom-right corner).

And here’s a three-page pull-out featuring this new Rider, Kamen Rider Aqua. According to the scan, Aqua is also Minato Miharu, and also from the future. Essentially, Aqua and Poseidon are different versions of each other, one good, one evil. And Aqua’s personal vehicle is a jet ski called the “Aqua Miraider”.

And we have one last scan for Fourze, which was almost missed!:

In this pic, which talks about Fourze starting off the New Year, has two very interesting components to it. Namely, the two shadowed figures on the left side. One appears to be Fourze with TWO Rockets, possibly in a new yet-to-be-announced State, and the other could possibly be the next Rider for the series (after Nadeshiko). Exciting stuff, no?

Anyway, that’s everything for Fourze, now onto Go-Kaiger!

And right away, we get our first loolk at Kanzen Go-KaiOh!

And it looks like Zangyack will be stepping up their game as well. This is the Great Waltz, Zangyack’s “Mightiest Warship”, given to Walz Gil be his father, Emperor Ackdos Gil. It will premiere in Ep.37.

Luckily, the Go-Kaigers will have this to fight it with! A combination of Go-KaiOh and Go-JyuJin (with Engine Machalcon), they’re able to create this combination using their own Grand Power(!), “the power to take hold of their dreams”. But will it be enough to defeat this new weapon?!

And it looks like Joe and Barizog’s final battle is coming soon. Will Joe find a way to save his friend and former teacher Sid? Or will he have to destroy him?

And in this scan, we have both our first look at the Emperor Ackdos Gil, and our first look at Go-Kaiger Vs. Gavan. So what plans will the Emperor have for our favorite pirates? And why is the only bit of promotional material for the upcoming movie just an old picture of Gavan with his Laser Blade? O?O

And in this final scan, we see the official announcement for a new Telebi-Kun Go-Kaiger DVD special! In this new special, Marvelous and Gai fuse together, and have to fight, changing into all of the previous Red Senshi, leading up to the appearance of Go-KaiRed Gold Mode! No release date for the special has been anounced yet.

And there’s all of the scans. Sorry this is so late, unfortunately I have to be a full-time college student, and certain assignments will end up taking priority over blog-related stuff. Hate to have to leave you guys out in the cold, but that’s just how it has to be. Don’t worry though, more poss are coming soon, so keep checking back in!

Go-Kaiger Scans: Engine Machalcon and Go-KaiGalleon Buster in Action!

It’s that time again. New magazine scans are making there way around, and with them a new set rumors and spoilers to go around. This time, we have new scans of the Go-KaiGalleon Buster, and we have some real pics of the Go-Onger Grand Power, Engine Machalcon. Let’s get to it!

Here’s the Go-KaiGalleon Buster. Hakase created it using the Ohranger‘s Grand Power, modeling it after the Galleon.

The Buster’s finisher is called “Rising Strike”, and is activated by inserting five metallic Go-Kaiger RangerKeys (don’t ask me why it’s specifically metallic keys). And as you can see, the others are supporting Go-KaiRed as he blows away the poor schmuck in the top-left corner.

Next we have Engine Machalcon, the 13th Engine and Go-Onger‘s Grand Power. According to this, Machalcon is somehow the son of Speedor and BearV (yeah, I don’t even want to think about how that would be possible).

Using the Go-Onger RangerKeys, Machalcon can combine with Go-KaiOh to form Go-OnGo-KaiOh, a formation similar to GaoGo-KaiOh. It will debut in the Go-Onger tribute episode.

Speaking if which, we have a couple of rumors about that episode and other future episodes, which you can check out here:

  • Two Gaiark survivors appear. Barbaric Preservation Chief Chirakashizkey and 2nd Pollution President Babatchean. The Go-Onger tribute will last for two episodes.
  • Following that is the Kanzen GokaiOh episode. It was mentioned that it  will appear in a two-parter. It is not sure if it will appear on its own  story arc or in the Go-Onger 2-parter.
  • Emperor Ackdos Gil sends a tide turning weapon to his son. Walz Gil heads to the front lines to test it.
  • After being pushed into the corner by the Zangyack, the Gokaiger use their own great power to form Kanzen GokaiOh.
  • Waltz Gil is killed in this battle; Barizorg is defeated by Joe and dies; and, Damaras takes Waltz Gil’s corpse.

Wow, if even half of that’s true that would almost completely change the direction of the show. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how it really happens.

Go-Kaiger Rumors: Mid 80’s Nostalgia!

Yep, the latest episode rumors are out, and this time they focus on three extremely popular teams from the ancient times we refer to as the “80’s”.

According to the rumor, ChangeDragon, YellowFlash, and RedMask will all appear in episode 32 to give Go-Kaiger their Grand Powers. It’s not certain whether the actors themselves will make an appearance or not. And it looks like the Go-KaiGalleon Buster will utilize the Grand Powers of Changeman, Flashman, Maskman, and Ohranger.

If the rumor is true, it would confirm a previous rumor about the return of Kaizu Ryousuke (Takeru/RedMask) to acting via Go-Kaiger, and possibly one about Basco having three Grand Powers from these teams. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Go-Kaiger Rumors: Basco has Three Super Sentai Grand Powers?! When did that happen?!!

[My apologies to anyone that saw this post before now. I had actually spent a good half hour writing it, and supposedly it saved it, so I’m not sure what happened. Hopefully this time, it will actually save my work so that you can see this post.]

Gokaiger Rumors: Basco Got Thress Super Sentai Great Powers?!

Rumors have been circling the Japanese boards that Go-Kaiger villian and trumpeter Basco da Jorokia has somehow obtained three Grand Powers? So when did that happen?!

As the rumors have played out so far, it seem that by the time Basco shows up again (in Ep.31), that he will have somehow obtained the Grand Powers from Changeman, Flashman, and Maskman. It’s not been said when or how he obtained them, but we do know that Basco can use his trumpet to “call out” the Grand Powers from former senshi that have them. Someone has certainly been busy!

Anyway, keep in mind that this is just a rumor, though it would be interesting to see what someone like Basco would do with a Grand Power, other than trying to find the Greatest Treasure in the Universe. It’s not like he has his own giant robot to…. uh oh.

Go-Kaiger Rumors and Confirmations: Much ‘ado about Go-Onger.

In the Super Sentai 199 movie, the Go-Kaigers received 11 Sentai Grand Powers, including the powers from Go-Onger. Well, supposedly, at the Tokyo Toy show, a couple of people were able to see the toy version of the grand power in question.

Before I say anything further, I just want to say that this is just a rumor, and there is a chance that it could prove to be false.

Supposedly. this Grand Power from Go-Onger turns out to be a new Legend Machine, a red race car modeled after Speedor, except that it doesn’t have any eyes, so technically it’s not an Engine. And the guy at the booth explained that it forms a new robot when combined with both Go-KaiOh and Go-JyuJin.

They also had Go-OnGold’s RangerKey and some Go-On Wings toys there with pirate markings on them, including two Engine Souls with pirate markings and the number 13 written on them.

That’s it for that rumor, now onto some confirmed news.

It has been confirmed the pop group G3 Princess will be reuniting the Go-Kaiger summer movie, Kaizoku Sentai Go-Kaiger THE MOVIE: The Flying Ghost Ship. The group was created for a single-episode appearance in Go-Onger. This confirmation came from Otonafami Magazine.

It was originally rumored that there would be an all-female sentai group appearing in a future episode of Go-Kaiger, and both Sugimoto Yumi and Oikawa Nao hinted to this in their own personal blogs in May. As of yet, their roles in the movie are unknown.

The idol group was originally formed for an episode of Go-Onger, and they released the single “G3 Princess Rap”, one of many variations of the Go-Onger ending theme.

Kaizoku Sentai Go-Kaiger THE MOVIE: The Flying Ghost Ship will premiere August 6th.
