Power Rangers Samurai Origins Part 2 Trailer: We need Samurai Megazord Power, NOW!

Yesterday, the first part of the new PRS Origins Special aired, featuring what probably should have been the first episode of the series (since it was essentially a carbon copy of the first episode of Shinkenger, at least that’s what I’ve heard). And now we have the trailer for Part 2 of the Origins special, which includes first Samurai¬†Megazord fight! Check it out below:

I like how every battle is suppose to be the biggest battle in the universe EVER. ūüėõ

Anyway, premieres next Saturday in Nick.

Power Rangers Samurai Origins Promo #1: So that’s where the first episode went.

The wait is almost over! We have the first teaser promo for the Origins special part 1, which airs this Saturday (10/15) on Nick. See how the newest team of Rangers came together to fight the evil Nighlocks:

Can’t wait to see what happens!

In the mean time, here’s a funny picture:

The Samurai Rangers take Abbey Road. Just a little Beatles-inspired humor to start your day.

Power Rangers Samurai Comic-Con Panel!

Alright, Comic-Con is over and done with, for now, but we’ll definitely be taking away a lot of stuff from it. There was a ton of super geeky news that came out of it, but who cares about any of that right now. Let’s skip ahead to the part you actually care about, the Power Rangers Samurai Comic-Con Panel!

First, here are a few shots taken during the panel:

And now, from the SabansPowerRangers channel on YouTube, here is the official video from the Power Rangers Samurai Origins Panel at Comi-Con!:

Alright, we can gather these three things from the Panel Discussion:

  1. They are, in fact, Power Rangers fans themselves.
  2. They do know about Shinkenger, and have seen enough of it to get a feel for it.
  3. Paul Shierer is amazing. Of course, we already knew that, but still.

Here’s to Power Rangers¬†Samurai’s amazing¬†appearance at this year’s Comic-Con! And here’s hoping for a similar appearance next year, no matter what kind of Rangers they may be.

Power Rangers Samurai in San Diego: The Power is on at Comic-Con!

This year’s San Diego Comic-Con 2011¬†kicked off yesterday (7/21), and guess who showed up for the party? That’s right, the Samurai Rangers! They came this year as part of Nick’s exhibit at the convention, and they’ve been showing off stunts and posing for photos with conventioners since they first popped up yesterday. Here are a few photos from the event:

As you can see here, Brittany Anne Pirtle, who plays Emily/the Yellow Samurai Ranger, was interview by NBC to talk about her role in the show, and about Nickelodeon’s booth at Comic-Con. Video of the interview can be found here:

You like the little “stunt show”?

As part of the Power Rangers Samurai exhibition,¬†there will be an “Origins of the Samurai Power Rangers” panel hosted by Paul Schrier (Bulk),¬†between 7-8 pm on Saturday, where attendees will get a chance to see the origins special 3 months before it airs on Nick, followed by a one-on-one interview with the cast of the show. So, if you happen to be at or headed over to Comic-Con this weekend, be sure to drop in on that! (And maybe send me some “leaked” footage from the event.) ūüėČ
