Get a chance to preview Transformers: The Ride – 3D at Universal Studios Hollywood!

Attention Transformer fans! This is your chance to ride the new Transformers Ride at Universal Studios in Hollywood and get a free trip to the park (most expenses paid (note: I’m not a representative of Universal, just thought this would be cool to share)) by following this link and signing up as a “recruit” for N.E.S.T., preparing for the biggest battle against the Decepticons yet. And from everything I’ve seen about the ride through exclusive clips for it, it looks AWESOME. Yes, it’s based on the Michael Bay films, so that guarantees awesome graphics, but a shaky plot (ehh, it’s going to be a 2 minute long virtual ride, so who cares?). There’s a ton of other prizes available, so go sign up now for your shot at this exclusive preview. For full details, check out the main site at

And yes, I’m trying to win the prize too, but I’m not nuch of a threat… yet….

Kamen Rider Meteor Revealed!: No need to visit the planeterium, just check out the light show on my belt.

Here it is! The first clear image of Fourze’s seond Rider, Kamen Rider Meteor, shown here along with an advertisement for the soon-to-be-released MeteorDriver.

Kamen Rider Meteor will be powered by the Meteor Switch (an unnumbered Astro Switch). And the MeteorDriver looks very similar to the BirthDriver, and it even has a similar functionality to it.

According to previous rumors about the second Rider, Meteor will premiere in the MEGAMAX movie. His name is supposedly “Gray”, from the planet Mars, chosen by the Meteor (possibly the one shown in MEGAMAX) and first appears as a transfer student at Amanogawa High.

The current cast list for the movie has this guy, Yoshizawa Ryo, listed for the role of “mysterious transfer student”. And if past mystery roles in the Movie Wars are any indication, then Yoshizawa will most likely play Gray/Meteor in the series (if not the movie)

And here we have his personal weapon, the Meteor Galaxy, who function is currently unknown, along with a first look at his bike, which is compatible with the PowerDicer in Launcher Mode. More details on these as the come out.

In the mean time, you can look at Meteor in better detail with this full-body pic:

Ooh, sparkley! He’s a walking star map.

Well, that’s all I have on Meteor right now. While he’s expected to show up in the movie, it’s not known when he’ll appear in the series, so just kepp checking back in to see what happens.

Power Rangers Samurai Toys Coming to McDonald’s!: Now I really will have a “happy meal”. :P

Rangerboard member Silver Zeo (you might like to chat with him, PaladinZeo), who happens to be a McDonald’s employee, has just informed us that a Power Rangers Samurai Happy Meal promotion is planned for next month (September)! Here’s some of what Silver Zeo said:

“…Starting September 15th we get Power Rangers Samurai toys! . . . I was told there will be 8 toys, I think 6 are rangers and then the megazord and a weapon of some sort if I recall correctly.”

Well, on the off chance you haven’t been able to find any PRS toys in your hometown (I just found some a couple of weeks ago at my local Target), I can’t think of a better opportunity. Any ideas on what that eighth toy could be?

UPDATE: (8/28/11) Just got this screen shot from Henshin Grid, thanks for mentioning my blog on yours!

Here’s the toys coming next month! So grab your younger sibling (or just own up to your geekiness) and get yourselves a Happy Meal this September! (Link to that page on, just click the “Next Happy Meal” tab. They will also have iCarly toys available for girls, but who really cares?)

UK Martial Artist made honorary Ranger: No, this isn’t a stunt to promote the 2012 London Olympics…. :P

This is Aaron Cook, a 20-year old Tae Kwon Do champion who will be representing the UK in the upcoming 2012 London Olympics, and one of the strongest hopefuls they have to bring home the gold in that category. And in a bid to bring attention to his profile ahead of the 2012 Games, he has become the first honorary member of the Power Rangers.

On Friday, he exhibited himself at London’s Westfield Shopping Centre, as a real-life action figure. Hoping to bring attention to the launch of PRS in the UK, he mentioned how much of a Power Rangers fan he is.

“I’m hoping that by joining the Power Rangers I’ll help to inspire British children to follow in my footsteps, which will hopefully include a medal at the London 2012 Olympics”, said Cook. “I was mad about Power Rangers as a kid so my parents took me to a local Taekwondo club in Dorchester where I fell in love with the sport. The rest, as they say, is history.”

I’ll admit, when I first read this story, I thought it was purely promotional. But seeing that he is a fan, and that he was more interested in getting kids inspired to follow martial arts, I gotta say, this is pretty cool. Whoe would want to be an honorary Power Ranger, or be a life-size action figure. Hard to belive that he actually went through with it, standing in a plastic box all day, but hey, more power to him. I can definitely see why Saban would agree to do this.

Third link that’s too long for the post.
