Power Rangers Samurai Spring Toy Line: Super Samurai Included!

Hey, a bunch of new Power Rangers Samurai toy pics showed up over the weekend for PRS’s Spring Line, and they include the Super Samurai figures, the new “Shark” Zord (Kyoryu Origami), and a bunch of other cool toys and figures! Looks like it’s going to be quite the shopping season. Let’s get to the good stuff!:

First, here’s the Super Samurai:

And here’s Pink and Yellow. Theye’re normal, but with modified weapons:

And here’s a new Master Xandred figure:

Also on the list are some re-releases of the auxilary zords, this time with new helmetless figures (attachable helmet included):

And now back to some new stuff. Mainly, the new Shark Zord:

Yep, that’s the relabel Kyoryu Origami, which includes what I’m guessing is a helmetless Jayden as the Shark Attack Ranger. Here’s a couple more pics:

Something about that new belt looks awfully familiar…                                                                  No time to dwell on that, though, we’ve got more figures to cover.

Like these new Super Samurai Morphin’ Figures:

Or how about these Mini Cycles:

Then there’s this new collection of Mega Ranger figures:

And there are some new Power Rangers plushes:

These plush action figures, called the Power Rangers Battlers, are 18in tall and are currently available:

And here’s the smaller, 10.5in versions:

And, since they have to keep up with current toy trends, here are some new Power Rangers Squinkies:

The entire collection of PRS Squinkes comes in three sets.

And those are the new toys that, for the most part, are out now (depends on where you look). Since this is technically the spring line, there’s a good chance that we might see more of it come out for the Holiday Shopping Season. I doubt they’ll reveal any more than they have here (in regards to stuff that will show up in the show in the future), but you never know what they’ll decide. We might even see a female Red Ranger figure show up. 😉

SH FiguArts Shinkenger Figures coming to US Toys’R’Us?!: Can’t post, must check store…

Wow, this is HUGE!!! Why hasn’t this gotten a ton of coverage? Looks like US Super Sentai fans can now purchase SH FiguArts ShinkenRed and ShinkenGold figures from your local Toys’R’Us stores! These are legit, real, Bandai Japan figures, not overpriced Bandai America ripoffs, and now you can buy them someplace other than an obscure specialty shop or online. Not only that, but with a $34.99 sticker price, I believe they might also be slightly cheaper at Toys’R’Us than at the usual set of options available for US Sentai fans.

Here’s how Toys’R’Us described the two figures:

Collectors, here’s a unique opportunity to own a figure from the Samurai Sentai Shinkenger Japanese TV series, now airing in the US as Power Rangers Samurai! This distinct Power Rangers 6 inch Shinkenger Action Figure exhibits ultimate
detail and the highest articulation in the Power Rangers line. The figure has sleek Samurai styling making it stand out from the rest of the pack. Attach the included hand accessories and create a dynamic pose, or make the figure ready for battle with all the gear! The Shinkenger Figure is an essential item for the Power Rangers enthusiast. Collect all figures to discover the Power!

So if I’m reading that description right, then if this becomes popular, they might just add the other Shinkenger figures from the SH FiguArts line. And who knows, this could lead to other SH FiguArts figures being brought over and sold in the US. There are definitely plenty of collectors over here that would buy them. 😛

These six inch figures are $34.99 a piece, and currently are only available in-store (currently out-of-stock for shipping, not eligible for store pick-up). Be sure to check your local Toys’R’Us for availability. I think I might just have to check mine sometime this weekend. 😉

More Go-Kaiger Toy Pics: I know where there from now!

Here are some more pics from the Go-Kaiger both at the Tokyo Toy fair. Enjoy:

Okay then looks like we have the current and remaining RangerKey sets on display (with some very good shots of the Metallic Go-Kaiger Keys), another pic of the Metallic TyrannoRanger Key, a massive collection of Gashapon RangerKeys, with that Toys’R’Us exclusive Treasure Chest (which comes with 20 RangerKeys), and two views of the Go-KaiGalleon (and other Go-KaiMachines). I can’t say for sure, but given the size and detail on it, those could be the actual set props, maybe even the Hero Versions (that just means the big ones they use for up-close shots). Makes me really wish that I could have gone to see this. Oh well, maybe some day…

Go-Kaiger Toys’R’Us Exclusive: It’s a HUGE Treasure Chest!

Toys’R’Us of Japan is now offering a new exclusive RangerKey Treasure Chest! Take a look:

As you can see, it’s 410x260x220 (can’t tell of it’s in millimeters or centimeters, probably millimeters, since it would be about the size of an actual chest in centimeters), and it comes with a set of 20 RangerKeys. So, assuming it’s in millimeters, it would be accurate in size, shape and decoration to the treasure chest in the show, and it comes with a buttload of booty. Only available at Toys’R’Us for 6000 yen. If you got the money to buy it, then I say go for it. Good luck getting it from Toys’R’Us Japan.
