Wada Keiichi Comparison video: He’s definitely still got it!

Well, if we can take anything away from the latest episode of Go-Kaiger, it’s that Wada Keiichi is still kick-ass! He’s just as skilled, and overall just as AWESOME as he was in his Dairanger days. Not convinced? Then why don’t you take a look at this comparison video and judge for yourself:

See it now? Heck, he’s probably better now than he was 18 years ago (holy crap, was it really that long ago?! 0.o).

Go-Kaiger Ep.33 Raw: Suits? We don’t need no stinkin’ suits!

Well, here it is, the actual episode! IN this episode, which also happens to be the Dairanger tribute episode, Gai loses his Go-KaiCellular during a fight (eaten by this week’s Action Commander) and has doubts about whether or not he can truly consider himself a hero, that is, until he meets Tenkasei Ryo, the former Ryu Ranger of Dairanger, who remonds him of what it really means to be a hero. Check out the episode below:

Wow, it’s been a while since we’ve seen a really good out-of-suit fight. Of course, it does help to have someone who was in one of the best out-of-suit fights in all of tokusatsu be in the scene too. 😉

Go-Kaiger Episode Summaries: Going over Classroom Time to talk about Ahim.

Hey, there are some new episode rumors flying around for Go-Kaiger, looks like we have a bit more story behind some future episode rumors from last week, and this is just a chain of sentence fragments. Anyway, it looks like for episodes 39-41, we’ll have a tribute episodes for Timeranger and Megaranger, and we’ll get to see more of Ahim’s backstory. Let’s see what we can expect from Go-Kaiger next month:

Episode 39: Megaranger Tribute Episode
Kenta has become a teacher at Moroboshi High School. The Gokaiger disguises themselves as high school students and enter Moroboshi High.

Guest starring Ooshiba Hayato as Date Kenta aka MegaRed.

Episode 40: Timeranger Tribute Episode
GojyuuDrill arrives from the future bringing a letter from none other  than, former TimeYellow, Domon. The letter tells the Gokaiger they must  stop a a certain shrine from being destroyed on October 2nd, 2010.  There, on that date, The Gokaiger find the Goseiger and Shinkenger  battling, and they meet a man, Moriyama Mirai.

The episode might explain the Gokaiger’s appearance, or cameo, in the recent Tensou Sentai Goseiger vs Shinkenger: EPIC on Silver Screen. Guest starring Izumi Shuuhei as Domon aka TimeYellow.

Episode 41: Aihm’s backstory episode
Emperor Akudos Ghil, accompanied by his bodyguards Dairandor and  Satsurigu, arrives at the Gigant Horse. He has Damaras imprisoned for  not being able to protect the Prince. Satsurigu begins a horrifying  attack on the Earth, the same force that killed Ahim’s parents, and  destroyed her planet, Planet Famille.

And we also have a few more rumors about future episodes, which are currently pointing to a giant shake-up for Zangyack near the end of the series:

  • Future episodes will feature a Kakuranger tribute (by which time Basco will have gotten more Ultimate Powers), more Joe and Barizorg, Hakase’s  backstory, and the eventual conclusion. (My Note: A big “duh!” on all of these)
  • The final fight may be Basco VS Gokaiger, and will have a “big event” occur with Zangyack.

I wonder what that “big event” could be? And how come Hakase’s backstory is the last one will hear anything about?! As always, these are rumors, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. Although one thing I can say for sure: I still don’t want to think about the series concluding anytime ever!

Kaizoku Sentai Go-Kaiger Ep.33 Preview: Wait, where’s Ep.32?

Well, the only video of Ep.32 I could find has already been taken down (by the user), so for now, I’m just going to put up the Ep.33 preview. In it, Gai doubts if he’s as heroic as he’d like to be, and runs into former Ryu Ranger, Tenkasei Ryo of Dairanger! Talk about heroic!:

Ranger Double Kick!

Go-Kaiger October Episode Summaries: Who here’s dressing as a pirate for Halloween?

Hey, we have the latest batch of episode summaries for Go-Kaiger, and it looks like we’ll be getting some really good episodes down the pipeline. If you don’t believe me, then check it out for yourself:

Episode 32: Chikara wo Hitotsu ni (Combine Our Powers) – (10/02) Gai and the others were injured by the true form of Basco. Hakase decides to create a new weapon, borrowing everyone else’s weapons in the process. He continues development on the weapon, but it is only ending in failure.

Furtheremore, the Action Commander Shieldon, who can repel any attack with his shield, appears. Although this only causes Hakase to worry more, he gets a hint from the words of Gai and Goro Hoshino, and is able to complete the GalleonBuster at last!

Episode 33: Hero Daaaa! (I’m a hero!) – 10/09
Gai’s GokaiCellular is swallowed by the new Action Commander, Zakyura. Gai can neither transform, or fight… The worrying Gai runs into a Delivery Man from a Chinese Restaurant. He turns out to be none other than the former Ryuuranger, Tenkasei Ryou!

Episode 34: Yume wo Kanaete (Dream Comes True) – 10/16/11
Luka’s childhood friend and businessman, Cain, will make an appearance in this episode. Action Commander Onenine appears. Furthermore, “Fulfill My Dream, Dynaman” was Kagaku Sentai Dynaman’s ending theme.

Yuki Kimisawa who previously played Kamen Rider W’s Kirihiko Sonozaki aka Nasca Dopant will play the role of Luka’s childhood friend.

Episode 35: Jigen no Mukou (Dimension on the Other Side) – 10/23 The Gaiark officer, Chirakashizuki appears.

Episode 36: Aibou Kaizoku (Parter Pirate) – 10/30
In front of the Gokaiger appeared a mysterious robot, whose name was Bonper! Former Go-OnRed, Esumi Sosuke, appears. The Gokaigers end up taking on Chirakashizuki and another Gaiark officer, Babaachuudo, to stop their attack on the Gunman World. However, the Gokaiger fall into a Gaiark trap! There hope lies in… Engine Machalcon!

It is also confirmed that Engine #13: Machalon will be voiced by Hiroaki Hirata, best known for his role as Sanji of One Piece, and Wild Tiger of Tiger & Bunny.

So, two tribute episodes, and a look into Luka’s past? This is going to be quite the month for the Go-Kaigers!

And it looks like the fun’s not stopping there! We have three more rumored episode summaries for November, and they include two more tribute episodes, and a look into Ahim’s past. Let’s take a look:

Episode 39: Megaranger Tribute Episode
The Gokaigers disugise themselves as high school students and enter Moroboshi High. Guest Starring Ooshiba Hayato as Kenta Date aka MegaRed.

Episode 40: Timeranger Tribute Episode
A Gai focus episode. Guest Starring Shuuhei Izumi as Domon aka TimeYellow.

Episode 41: Not Tribute
Ahim’s backstory episode. The Emperor’s bodyguards, who destroyed Planet Famille, appears.

Okay, not the most detailed, but they are over a month away, so…

Go-Kaiger Dairanger Tribute Episode: Five-Star Pirates!

Looks like we’ve got some new info on the upcoming Dairanger tribute episode (Ep.33), and it looks like Gai’s back in the spotlight. Here’s the summary:

Episode 33: Hero daaaaa!!!! – 10/09
While at the super market, Luka and Gai meet the monster Bacula who is eating everything. Gai’s GokaiCellular ends up being eaten as well. Feeling down about what happened Gai is confronted by a single man…

Spoiler Alert! That mysterious person will be one of the Dairangers. 😛

The real question is, which one will it be? Will it be Tenkasei Ryo, a.k.a. Ryu Ranger? Or will it be another Dairanger?

And it also looks like this is going to be an episode with a lot of out-of-suit action, which is rarely seen anymore nowadays. Should be exciting!

Go-Kaiger Scans: Engine Machalcon and Go-KaiGalleon Buster in Action!

It’s that time again. New magazine scans are making there way around, and with them a new set rumors and spoilers to go around. This time, we have new scans of the Go-KaiGalleon Buster, and we have some real pics of the Go-Onger Grand Power, Engine Machalcon. Let’s get to it!

Here’s the Go-KaiGalleon Buster. Hakase created it using the Ohranger‘s Grand Power, modeling it after the Galleon.

The Buster’s finisher is called “Rising Strike”, and is activated by inserting five metallic Go-Kaiger RangerKeys (don’t ask me why it’s specifically metallic keys). And as you can see, the others are supporting Go-KaiRed as he blows away the poor schmuck in the top-left corner.

Next we have Engine Machalcon, the 13th Engine and Go-Onger‘s Grand Power. According to this, Machalcon is somehow the son of Speedor and BearV (yeah, I don’t even want to think about how that would be possible).

Using the Go-Onger RangerKeys, Machalcon can combine with Go-KaiOh to form Go-OnGo-KaiOh, a formation similar to GaoGo-KaiOh. It will debut in the Go-Onger tribute episode.

Speaking if which, we have a couple of rumors about that episode and other future episodes, which you can check out here:

  • Two Gaiark survivors appear. Barbaric Preservation Chief Chirakashizkey and 2nd Pollution President Babatchean. The Go-Onger tribute will last for two episodes.
  • Following that is the Kanzen GokaiOh episode. It was mentioned that it  will appear in a two-parter. It is not sure if it will appear on its own  story arc or in the Go-Onger 2-parter.
  • Emperor Ackdos Gil sends a tide turning weapon to his son. Walz Gil heads to the front lines to test it.
  • After being pushed into the corner by the Zangyack, the Gokaiger use their own great power to form Kanzen GokaiOh.
  • Waltz Gil is killed in this battle; Barizorg is defeated by Joe and dies; and, Damaras takes Waltz Gil’s corpse.

Wow, if even half of that’s true that would almost completely change the direction of the show. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how it really happens.
