Kamen Rider Fourze Ganbaride CM: 3-on-3 fights, New Riders, and Astro Switch gameplay revealed!

The latest commercial for the updated Kamen Rider Battle: Ganbaride 01 has surfaced online, giving us a look at some of it’s newest features, such as the new three-on-three combat system, the functionality of the Astro Switches during gameplay, and the inclusion of two new Rider forms (not related to Fourze). Let’s watch:

Ooh, so many secrets revealed, so little time. First, we can see that the Astro Switches make all kinds of sounds, from when they’re inserted (ROCKET, LAUNCHER, etc.), to when they’re switched (Rocket on, Radar on, etc.), to when your powering up Fourze ( 3… 2… 1…). And from there, the new three-on-three combat system was revealed, with a few new tricks added to the game. And it looks like they’ve added OOO BuraKaWani combo and Agito Shining form to the game.

The commercial was narrated by Hiyama Nobuyuki, who will be narrating Kamen Rider Fourze starting in September. I hope you like his voice, because you’re about to hear it quite often.

DiceOh Video: Go-KaiRed Gold Mode in Action!

So a few weeks back, we saw got to see Go-KaiRed Gold Mode, at least the DiceOh! version of him (still no confirmation on whether this will happen in the series). But now we have actual video of Go-KaiRed in action, using a special Gold Mode finisher! Take a look:

Not a bad finisher, and Go-KaiSilver came in at the end to take them out, too!

Power Rangers SPD Japanese Dub clip: Jack’s first morph.

As you know, TOEI Channel announced not too long ago that they would be airing episodes of Power Rangers SPD on their network, with the cast of Dekaranger dubbing over their SPD counterparts. Now the first episode of SPD has aired in Japan, and we have a short clip from it. Wanna see how they handled dubbing over their own material?:

Well, it’s certainly interesting to see. It’s almost like the original Dekaranger material has come full circle. Or to put it another way, it’s weird to watch, but awesome.

And I think we’re all in agreement that English subs would be unneccesary at this point, right?

Power Rangers Samurai Comic-Con Panel!

Alright, Comic-Con is over and done with, for now, but we’ll definitely be taking away a lot of stuff from it. There was a ton of super geeky news that came out of it, but who cares about any of that right now. Let’s skip ahead to the part you actually care about, the Power Rangers Samurai Comic-Con Panel!

First, here are a few shots taken during the panel:

And now, from the SabansPowerRangers channel on YouTube, here is the official video from the Power Rangers Samurai Origins Panel at Comi-Con!:

Alright, we can gather these three things from the Panel Discussion:

  1. They are, in fact, Power Rangers fans themselves.
  2. They do know about Shinkenger, and have seen enough of it to get a feel for it.
  3. Paul Shierer is amazing. Of course, we already knew that, but still.

Here’s to Power Rangers Samurai’s amazing appearance at this year’s Comic-Con! And here’s hoping for a similar appearance next year, no matter what kind of Rangers they may be.

Kamen Rider Foure Astro Switch Sounds: (Insert Portal joke here.)

Okay, so a video has surfaced on YouTube supposedly of the sounds the Astro Switches make during Fourze’s henshin sequence. You can check that out here: http://youtu.be/wEchhOLm8IE Sorry, can’t embed the video, that part was disabled.

It sounds like it could be the real thing, that maybe they tweaked the audio from the press conference. When you listen to it, you can hear other sounds underneath the henshin sounds. And for those who do click the link and listen to the video will notice how metallic sounding it is. There are some voices singing, but that’s so incomprehesenible that you you can’t tell what they’re saying. It’s all very techno. I guess that would match the whole “Astronaut” theme, but it still sounds very strange. As you can imagine, a lot of people made Portal jokes in the comments section of the video.

Until either the driver itself comes out, or someone manages to leak the real sound onto the web, we can’t really confirm if this is it. We’ll just have to wait for confirmation on this one.
