Hey, well, this looks like this might be interesing. As some of you may know, Chinese TV Producers have been producing something of their own version of Japanese tokusatsu shows. Some of you may be familiar with the Chinese Armor Hero series (which looks like a massive Kamen Rider ripoff). Well, now they’ve created their own Sentai ripoff called “Jushen ZhanJiDui” (literally Titans Warstrike Team, 巨神戰擊隊), and now the first episode of the show has been streamed. You can check that out below:
Just a quick heads up: I barely understand Japanese, I definitely don’t know Chinese, so if you want a real review of the series, you’ll have to find fansubs somewhere (and send me a link to them).

As you can see, the full team has six members, and from what I can tell, they’re divided into two or three different teams. And what makes this a Sentai ripoff is their use of mechs.
Here are the three team mechs, the Giant God Team Robot, the Giant Land Team Robot, and the Giant Sky Team Robot. The Giant God is comprised of five mechs, the Giant Land has four, and the Giant Sky has three. And of course they can combine together to form one big robot (name unknown). And we even have a pic of their transformation device/personal weapons:

The show has apparently been in production since October 2010, and the series premiered sometime last month (November 2012). I wouldn’t expect regular updates on this show if you do like it, because it looks like any episodes shared online will be uploaded very sporadically (even if there is demand for it).

Alright, looks like we finally have our hands on the not-so-new movie, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters THE MOVIE: Protect the Tokyo EneTower!, and it’s the Director’s Cut too (Yay! A whole 35 minutes!).
In this movie, Vargas targets the Tokyo EneTower, and in order to protect the tower, they’ll need help from the new Buster Machine Fs-0O Frog. Can they safeguard the tower from Vargas? Will they be able to coax their new BuddyRoid into entering the fray? Check out the movie below to find out!

“Long ago, in the time of the dinosaurs, the earth was invaded by forces from outer space. The only people capable of the stopping them was a team known as the Kyouki Ryu no Sha, the People of the Strong Dragons, or, Kyoryuger for short. Now, in the modern world, they return using the powers of the Beast Batteries to fight off this revived threat.”
Now, I’ve already been seeing complaints that the plot has the same basic premise as Zyuranger, but since that was to first Sentai to feature dinosaurs, and it’s going to coincide with the 20th Anniversary of Power Rangers, that shouldn’t be that much of a surprise. (Not saying there’s any sort of official tie-in, just that there may be some unspoken influences.)

Well, I think we all knew I ran out of clever titles a long time ago. Anyway, we’ve got Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters Mission 42 and Kamen Rider Wizard Ep.14, and both have villanous debuts this week. For Go-Busters, we’ve got the new and deadly Zeta-type Megazord, piloted by Escape, and for Wizard, we get our first glance of Wiseman in his Phantom form. I can feel chills going down my spine already! Anyway, you can check both of those episodes out below!:

Alright, we’ve already seen a million new catalogue scans, but here’s one more for good measure, and it’s the best pic of the team so far:

As you can see, the uniforms are very different from the original concept art.

The work is surrounded by a samba rhythm, making it a fun and bright experience! Theme of the show is “Charging” (Juuden, i.e. Jyuden, Beast Electricity). Using the JyuDenChi, in which Dinosaur Souls are stored, the Kyouryugers charge various pieces of their arsenal.
-Henshin Item is the “GaburiVolver” (Gaburi- to bite). The JyuDenChi is set in the “Gaburinchou” and henshin is carried out with a Samba Sound.
-Red, Black, Blue, Green and Pink require the help of Dinosaur partners, similar to Aba. Their names are GabuTyra (Tyrannosaurus), Parasagan (Parasaur), Stegocchi (Stegosaurus), Zactor (possibly a Velociraptor), and Torikera (Triceratops.)
-GabuTyra, Stegocchi, and Torikera can gattai into the “KyouryuuJin”. Parasagan and Zactor act as replacement parts for the bot. The toy has speech gimmicks, and it can recognize all the batteries. It resembles AbarenOh a tad, and its’ voice actor is Chiba Shigeru, who’s appeared in way too many shows to list here
So as you can see, still trying to be different and experimental like they were with Go-Busters, only with a much lighter feel. For a closer look at the new dinosaur partner mechs, check out these new toy pics from Big Bad Toy Store:
Here’s the official robo KyoRyuJin, which is a combination of GabuTyra, Stegocchi, and Torikera. Pretty similar to AbarenOh and MagiKing, with the other mechs acting as secondary attachments similar to Engine Birca and Gunpherd with EngineOh.
Here’s Dinosaur Zactor (and a partial of one of the JyuDenChis (which contain the Dino Souls and act as “batteries” for the Dinosaurs and the Kyoryuger’s equipment).
And this is Parasagan (sorry, it’s hard to tell what any of these things are without translations).
And this appears to be one of the first new additional Dinos, which the website lists as Stegochi, but looks like it might be one based off of an Anklyosaurus.
And this last one features the new DinoChaser and an illustrated KyoryuRed figure. As you can see, they start out as two separate Raptor-type dinos that combine to make the bike. As you can see in all of these scans, each major set seems to come with a JyuDenChi, and if you look closely at this last one, you can see the future sidearms that the Kyoryugers will use, namely the GaburiVolver and the Samba Sword.
Overall, this is show is suppose to be bright and up-beat with a Latin rhythm, somewhat purposely designed to counteract what Bandai has called the “dark” nature of Go-Busters (which they also hope will counteract the low sales of Go-Busters merchandise). Now we don’t know anything else that has been 100% confirmed, so I’m going to hold off on any real judgment about the series until more info comes out, but so far it doesn’t seem bad (to me, other people, ehh… they’ve already decided it’s going to be terrible). Personally, I was hoping to see some of influence from these Zyuranger Redesigns in the Kyoryuger‘s design, but it’s still not bad.

UPDATE: (12/8/12) More catalogue scans have come out, giving us a better look at their main robo KyoryuJin, and a look at their sidearms and henshin device. Check those pics out below:
First, a better look at the Dinos and KyoryuJin. As you can see, the JyuDenChi is used to “power” special effects in the Dinosaurs, or as they’re known here, the JyuDenRyu, and they each play different sound effects when combining together. Kamitsuki Gattai! Also, the first extra JyuDenRyu, Ankydon (the light blue one that looks like Steguchi) is also shown here.
And here we have a better look at the GaburiCaliber, in sword form and combined with the GaburiVolver to form the DX GaburiCannon. They will sell both parts separately AND in a DX combined set that comes with three JyuDenChis. The JyuDenChi exclusive to the GaburiCaliber is #15 Allomeras (note that the shape of the GaburiCaliber is similar to the Allosaurus).
And here we have a better look at the GaburiVolver, which makes this the first gun-based henshin device for a Sentai series (excluding, of course, any that change into guns, or the Akibaranger‘s MM-01). It comes with two JyuDenChis, #1 GabuTyra and #14 Stymero (Styracosaurus- no word on any future mechs for it). As you can see, to start the henshin functions, you place the JyuDenChi your going to use for the henshin in the bottom “barrel”, close the “mouth”, spin the chamber and whammo!, you’re a Kyoryuger! And as a finisher, there’s a second barrel for combined power attacks. But from what I can tell, there’s only sound effect for Red, Blue, and Pink, which makes me think that Green and Black will come in later in the series with their own version henshin device.
And here we have an overview of the Kyoryugers with their sidearms and their henshin device. And here’s the basic idea we have of the series thusfar: We’ve got five dino-themed rangers fighting and changing to a Samba beat, whose main henshin device is a revolver (the call phrase, by the way, is “Kyoryu Change!”), whose main gimmick are batteries that run on electric dinosaur souls, whose team make-up is the first truly unique line-up we’ve seen in a while (before Sixth or Extra rangers), and whose outfits seem to look like horribly mutated Zyuranger costumes. There still haven’t been any more confirmations about the plot, or any future cast, but given the fact that the first official image has come so late in the year, that shouldn’t be such a surprise.

Here’s a close-up of the belt, which acts as a phone and a carrying case for JyuDenChis, and it looks like it comes with JyuDenChi #14 (no idea). It also shows a new sword weapon (possibly the Samba Sword) and an inflatable punching bag toy.
And here’s another view of the DinoChaser, along with vinyl figures of the Kyoryugers and a mini GabuTyra.
And here we have future relese sets for JyuDenChis, namely #17-22, along with some merchandise advertising (yes, they’re updating Dice-OH! again). And it looks like they included a calendar of release dates starting in January and going through April. And now for a better look at the JyuDenRyu:
