Go-Kaiger Magazine Spoilers: Tenkasei! Mahha Zenkai!

Well, somebody got an early look at the upcoming issue of Telebikun magazine, and they managed to spread a number of spoilers about upcoming episodes of Go-Kaiger, mostly dealing with the Dairanger and Go-Onger tribute episodes. Check them out below:

  • There’s a picture of the 5 Gokaigers holding up the Go-KaiGalleon Buster on their shoulders and a waist up shot of Basco with text that says, “Basco stole 3 Great Powers from the past warriors.”
  • Sousuke Esumi aka Go-OnRed and Ryō of the Heavenly Fire Star aka Ryu Ranger are mentioned in the magazine. Confirming that their tribute episodes will happen this October.
  • An image of Kanzen GokaiOh is featured in a magazine spread and on the bottom right of the bottom-right is Go-OnRed and GokaiRed who says, “Now that’s one hell of a treasure!”
  • Engine Machalcon is introduced in the remaining area of the spread. There is a small arrow that points to Go-On GokaiOh as well as another pointing to Kanzen GokaiOh.
  • There is a next issue preview that says, “Even more of the awesome past warriors will show up! and then…!!” A silhouette of a monster-looking character is shown in the page which resembles Burajira (Man, that guy just won’t quit).

Along with these new spoilers, Hamura Ei, who played Shoji/TenmaRanger in Dairanger also tweeted yesterday that “very soon, HE will be back!” and that he would explain what that means sometime today. So I would expect an update on this soon.

Go-Kaiger Episode Summaries: Ohranger Tribute AND Basco two-parter? Sweet.

The Liveman tribute episode is just around the corner, and with these next two episodes, well meet the four tribute episodes quota set for this month! Check out what’s happening for the Ohranger tribute episode, the next appearance of Basco, and the creation of the Go-KaiGalleon Buster!

Episode 31 – Impact!! Secret Strategy
Former Ohranger’s Momo aka OhPink appears before Gokaigers and says that she will give them Ohranger’s Ultimate Power.

However, she is also hiding some secret plan. At the same time, former OhRed, Gorou, comes in contact with Basco. He claims that he will give up their Ultimate Power in exchange for the exact location of Zangayck’s flagship. There’s something else to his goal as well.

Episode 32: N/A
Gokaigers get beaten up by Basco. Marvelous and Joe undertake special training with their swords and guns. As Doc attempts to create an even more stronger weapon, Zangyack attacks. Marvelous and his crew are forced to return fire, but all of their attacks are repelled.

Episode 32 is also rumored to feature both the Go-KaiGalleon Buster, and special appearances from the former ChangeDragon, YellowFlash, and RedMask.

Looks like quite the exciting story arc coming up, wouldn’t you agree?

Go-Kaiger Rumors: What’s the real reason behind Basco’s betrayl?! You mean he isn’t just a greedy blackheart that gives pirates a bad name?

Yeah, I know this pic isn’t even remotely related to the story, I just wanted to use it.

Anyway, some interesting rumors have popped up regarding Basco, and the possible reason for his betrayl. So far, the main reason that’s been presented in the series for his betrayl is simply out of greed; Zangyack offered him a ship, amnesty, and the status of privateer. And so far, his performance on the show has demonstrated how much of a lecherous dog he can be. But, what if all of that is just an act? Here’s what’s come up (these rumors come from a source I’m not overly familiar with, so I really wouldn’t take these rumors seriously if I were you):

  • Basco’s betrayal was planned by AkaRed. He gave him a secret mission but to perfectly fulfill it, he had to betray the Red Pirates.
  • AkaRed and Navi are still in the secret. Basco should join the Gokaigers sooner or later.
  • In addition, it seems that Gai dies at the end of the series.

So, what do you think? Was Basco only trying to gain favor with Zangyack as part of a secret mission for AkaRed, or is that just hogwash? And do you think they would ever actually kill off Gai?! I honestly can’t believe the rumor about Gai. I know he’s a living illusion to these fallen Sentai warriors that have appeared in the show, but there’s also a lot that tells me that they won’t kill him off. I’ll post my opinions about it later. As for Basco, I could almost believe it, but he just plays the traitor too well. If anyone else joins the Go-Kaigers, I have a feeling it will be someone that we haven’t run into yet. Yeah, I’ll post something about that too.

Anyway, those are the newest rumors that have come out so far, if anything else comes out (preferably something more substantial), I’ll be sure to let you know.

Go-Kaiger Rumors: Basco has Three Super Sentai Grand Powers?! When did that happen?!!

[My apologies to anyone that saw this post before now. I had actually spent a good half hour writing it, and supposedly it saved it, so I’m not sure what happened. Hopefully this time, it will actually save my work so that you can see this post.]

Gokaiger Rumors: Basco Got Thress Super Sentai Great Powers?!

Rumors have been circling the Japanese boards that Go-Kaiger villian and trumpeter Basco da Jorokia has somehow obtained three Grand Powers? So when did that happen?!

As the rumors have played out so far, it seem that by the time Basco shows up again (in Ep.31), that he will have somehow obtained the Grand Powers from Changeman, Flashman, and Maskman. It’s not been said when or how he obtained them, but we do know that Basco can use his trumpet to “call out” the Grand Powers from former senshi that have them. Someone has certainly been busy!

Anyway, keep in mind that this is just a rumor, though it would be interesting to see what someone like Basco would do with a Grand Power, other than trying to find the Greatest Treasure in the Universe. It’s not like he has his own giant robot to…. uh oh.

Go-Kaiger and Fourze scans: Setting sail and taking off!

Alright, so we’re firmly in new magazine scans time, and for the month of September, that means news about upcoming Go-Kaiger episodes, and new pics from Kamen Rider Fourze! Let’s jump to it!:

Starting with the Go-Kaiger scans:

Here’s a pic of GoJyuGo-KaiOh, the full, shared Grand Power from Abaranger. As you can see, it utilizes the arm swap gimmick frequently used in Abaranger, giving Go-KaiOh Go-JyuJin’s drilling power. There’s a second pic below.

And here’s something from the Jetman tribute episode, with some kind of red knight as their main enemy, and Wakamatsu Toshihide returning as Yuuki Gai/Black Condor.

This scan seems to be mostly about Basco, but what’s that on the bottom-left corner? Hmm…

Anyway, that’s it for Go-Kaiger, now let’s move onto Fourze!

Look at all the Astro Switches! The FourzeDriver must be like an iPhone and a Swiss Army knife rolled into one. 😛

And here are some Zodiarts, lined up next to an overview of the students in the high school. I wonder if any of them could be a Zodiart?

And that’s what I’ve found of Fourze so far.

And that should wrap up this post for now. If I find anthing else, I’ll be sure to let you know!
