Hey, I have a few polls I wanna run by you, just to see how you feel about everything. Some will be about toku stuff, some will be about the site. Just want to hear from you.
Yes, I know that’s a lot of questions, but you don’t have to answer them all. I would like to hear from you about the site, though. And if you have any questions for me, or would like to discuss any of this, you can always leave a comment below.
Following the success of the recent movie, Ultraman Zero The Movie: The Revenge of Belial, Tsuburaya has announced the release of the a new v-cinema series, Ultraman Zero GAIDEN: Killer the Beatstar.
Similar to previous side stories, the series will be released in two parts, Steel Universe and The Promise of Meteor. The main antagonist of this story will be Jean Killer, and, similarly to the three allies Zero gained in previous movies (Mirror Knight, Glen Fire, and Jean Bot), he will be an homage to the classic toku series Jumborg Ace. It’s also rumored that ZAP Spacy will return as well.
Credits have Araki Kenichi as screenplay writer, and Abe Yuichi as director.
Stage 1 for this two-parter is due our November 25th, while Stage 2 is due out December 22nd. These will act as a prequel to the previously announced third Ultraman Zero movie, due out this December. There is, as of yet, no title for said movie.
Some new pics from Fourze have been leaked, this time showing the other Astro Switches in use. Take a look:
Okay, so as revealed before, the four primary Switches unlock the Rocket (Right Arm), the Launcher (a rocket launcher on his right leg), a Drill (left leg), and a Radar (left arm), though no one has specified what the radar is actually for. We also have a couple of space kaijin that he will be dealing with, probably in the first couple of episodes. They look a bit more like monsters you’d see in a sentai series to me, but that’s just my opinion. I do like their designs, they’re very cool, I’m just saying, I would expect Go-Kaiger to go up against them. And it also looks like Fourze is getting more than just the four Switches, because I’m pretty sure that the Switch in the sixth pic (second row, pic on the right) has the number 6 on it. I wonder what that could be? Then again, what’s he putting it in?
Also, the Switches apparently have a metallic voice that reads off it’s number, and it’s followed by some little melody. So, were basically going with the same trend we’ve been seeing in Kamen Rider since Den-O. Shocker!
