Super Hero Time Update(?): New video released on RRR.

RRR just uploaded a new video regarding SHT. Just follow the link above to see the original post. For those of you who don’t know or may not recall, Ryokuya of RRR along with CS Toys Blog and several others started the Super Hero Time Japan Relief Effort after the devastating magnitude 9 earthquake struck off the coast of Japan, the quake that resulted in hundreds of massive aftershocks and a tsunami that nearly wiped out Sendai and other areas along coast. From March 13th to April 9th, SHT managed to successfully raise $8255 for Japan relief, and it was all thanks to your donations. If you’d like to read the original post, or see the video, just click the link above. And to those of you who donated, arrigato gozaimasu! (^O^)/

Kamen Rider OOO Final Scans for April: Returning bad guys, returning combos, and thundering dinos!

Like I said for the last Go-Kaiger post, it’s almost the end of the month, and that means the last of the magazine scans for this month are making their way through. And here we have a decent collection of scans for OOO, including some new and old combos, new and old enemies, and a hint at the summer movie BuraKaWani combo.

And now that those are out-of-the-way, it’s time for some rumors regarding some upcoming episodes. First off, it seems that the reason the Purple Core Medals were attracted to Eiji is because of his lack of desires, making him the perfect host. Whether he will turn into a new Greeed or not, no one knows. We will also get several chances to look into Eiji’s past, as Date remembers where and when he last met Eiji, Eiji’s father might show up, and at some point he will meet a friend he knew from his school days giving the others a chance to learn what Eiji was like in school. And it turns out that Eiji can change into the PutoTerrano combo at will, without even needing to scan the medals, but he goes berserk every time he uses it, and Hina is the only one that can bring him back from that. And as an added twist to the story, Uva is somehow able to bring back Mezool and Gamel. So what will that mean? Is it a temporary revival, or are they back in the story for good? We’ll just have to watch to find out.

-M.C., the Quantum Twin.

All right, I get it, you’re not interested in my stuff: henshinGARB is no more.

Reluctantly, I have decided to close down the shop today. I’ve had well over 200 people visit it since it opened, but unfortunately not a single person has actually bought anything. If I was running an actual store in a mall or someplace like that, and over 200 people walked in and right back out, I would have been out of business and in a giant financial hole. But luckily, it was a free account with, so I didn’t have to go through all of that. And I don’t have to worry about paying taxes now, since I didn’t make a dime of income (at least I think it works that way, I have no idea, they find ways to screw people). But it still would have been nice if one of you had something. I didn’t get any real input from you, so I don’t really know why you weren’t interested. Was it just too soon? Was it the pricing? Did you spend all your money on Go-Kaiger merchandise? Were my designs really as bad as KRFan said they were? (By the way, screw you KRFan, it’s one thing to criticize, it’s another thing to be a horse’s ass about it.) I didn’t expect to make a real living off of this, but a little bit on the side would have been nice. I probably would have used most of it to expand this site, there are a whole host of upgrades that I would like to get, but I just can’t afford. Well, I guess it doesn’t matter at this point. I might reopen the shop sometime later on, when there are a some more of you following the site, maybe include some broader designs and themes, try to bring in non-toku people. Until then though, I’ll only be running the blog, reporting on toku news as usual. I might even get the chance to get into some of my own  stuff, I’m working on a few creative projects at the moment and I plan on sharing them with you, whether you want me to or not.

To henshinGARB, may it one day be a success. And once again, screw you KRFan! I don’t care how many thumbs down this gets, screw you and the horse you rode in on, KRFan!

Go-Kaiger 199 Movie and Upcoming episodes: Pics and Rumors Galore!

Hey, it’s almost the end of the month, so it’s last chance to get in this month’s new scans, announcements, and rumors before May and the next round of stuff starts pelting people in the head. So let’s get in what we still can!

The official movie poster for the Go-Kaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Heroes movie (coming June 11th) and as you can see, there’s going to be just a boat-load of stuff in the movie. As the title says, there are going to be 199 past heroes in the movie, and it looks like everybody and their mama has been brought back to be in this movie. Between a mix of past actors returning and reprising their roles, a bunch of evil clones, and some of the biggest baddies to ever go up against a Sentai back from hell, this promises to be one big mindblowing, sensory-overloading blockbuster smash hit! And as more news comes out for this, more and more people seem to be coming out of the wood works and making an appearence in this film.

Of them is AkaRed! Knew he wasn’t dead! I wonder if this will confirm my theory that the AkaRed that was seen in Marvelous’ past was really someone else using a Mobirate with an AkaRed Ranger Key? Any way, he isn’t the only one back. Tsutomu Isobe (WolzardFire), Tetsu Inada (DekaMaster), Hochu Otsuka (Signalman), and Odawa Teruaki (NinjaRed/Hyuuga) have been confirmed as voiceover roles in the movie. And the list for the cast reprising their acting roles has just been expanded.

Makoto Naoya returns as Kaijo Tsuyoshi/Akaranger, Miyauchi Hiroshi as Banba Sokichi/Big One, Ohba Kenji as Oume Daigoro/DenjiBlue, Haruta Jyunichi as Kuroda Kanpei/GoggleBlack, Hagiwara Sayoko as Tachibana Rei/DynaPink, Sakamoto Ryosuke as Shiro Go/Red One, Satou Kenta as Hono Riki/RedTurbo, Wada Kenichi as Ryo/Ryu Ranger, and Kikuchi Mika as Umeko/DekaPink. And I’m pretty sure the total list is right there in the corner, but unfortunatly I can’t read Japanese. I can only guess that that’s the whole list. Anyway, here are some more movie screenshots.

And so far that’s what I have for the movie. Now let’s look at some stuff coming up in the series!

Yes, this is what ShinkenGo-KaiOh looks like, and it is sweet! That should be appearing in the upcoming episode, along with Shiba Kaoru fighting Joe for the ShinkenRed Key. And we get a look into Joe’s past and an in-depth look at the person who trained him.

Above is the person that trained Joe, named Sid, and turns out over the next couple of weeks that he is now Barizog. Joe will fight him in ep.12 trying to bring his memory back. It’s also rumored that he will be Go-KaiSilver. And this episode will also show Joe and Marvelous meeting and fighting together for the first time.

And that’s everything… no, wait, I forgot something… oh, yeah that’s right. It was THIS:

BOOM! That’s right! Zyuranger in Episode 11! That (hopefully) means that the Zyuranger tribute episode will be up soon. But it looks like the Carranger Tribute will be next, so who know’s how long we’ll have to wait for the Zyuranger tribute. However, in episode 14, it looks like an old friend of Marvelous mysteriously shows up, so who knows, could be a trap, could be Go-KaiSilver. Let’s watch and find out!

UPDATE: (4/29/11) Here we go, one last minute pic for the month of April.

Hopefully next month we’ll be able to see an actual, non-editted photo of this guy.

Toku Challenge met! And the winner is……………

…….. Ape Sentai MONKEYMAN! That’s right, this guy either had or found all 51 episodes of Bioman that had been dubbed into English by Toei. And if you go to the original post, you’ll find DDL links to all of them. Hopefully they all work. If not, I’m very disappointed MONKEYMAN. Especially now that you’re officially my bestestest friend EVER (one of these days I’m going to trademark the whole EVER™ thing (joke trademarks are funny)). As promised, here is my email address (for MONKEYMAN’s eyes only): (no longer available due to increase in spam). I’d rather not give away anymore personal information here, but if you’d like to contact me, MONKEYMAN, you’re more than welcome to do so. And if not, then that’s cool too. I respect you’re right to privacy. But you gotta admit, it’s not cool to just leave you’re bestestest friend EVER hanging. 😉

Anyway, for those of you who didn’t see the original post, or who wanted to see these dubbed videos themselves, here’s a link: . Just follow it and the download links will be in the comments section. And since I had to put my email address in this post, anyone else who wants to contact me that way could if they wanted. If I see any spam though, I’ll remove the address from the post.

Anyway, for everybody else, expect new posts soon, there just hasn’t been any big news out in the last week that I haven’t already reported on. And I’m working on some of my own stuff right now, so I might just share some of that with you.

And here is a little something for MONKEYMAN as a token of my appreciation:

The barrel says “Saru Sentai Monkiman” which means Ape Sentai MONKEYMAN. Just a little sign of appreciation. You are welcome to use this for stuff if you like.

UPDATE: (5/2/11) Brent from Rangerboard recently posted a link to a thread in the comments section of the original post, related to a report from a 1986 L.A. Times article in which Saban got a green light to start filming on a new series called “Bio-Man”(!). Oh, what could have been. Check it out here: And I just want to add that I haven’t heard from MONKEYMAN, which isn’t cool. If you didn’t get my email (which apparently a bunch of other people of ill-repute have now) you could always drop a comment here somewhere, just saying. I made that picture for you, and all I get are a bunch of links. I’ll be waiting.

Oh, and here’s the link to the original news article: go check it out. It also mentions other shows Saban produced at the time, including cult anime classic Macron I (originally GoShogun).

Go-Kaiger in Spring: A look into the habits of space pirates in upcoming episodes.

I’ve got some new magazine scans for you! And unlike other scans this month, they actually have new and upcoming stuff in them. And I have some pics of of the Sixth Ranger Keys! But first:

Looks like the Shinkenger episode is coming up next, and it will feature Shiba Kaoru/ who is apparently teaching Joe how to fight with one sword. I’m guessing that this episode brings out the past, as it has past versions of them in the scan, including the rumored relationship between Joe Gibukan and Barizog. And somehow Go-KaiSilver plays into all of this, but no word on where he will be coming into the series. And it looks like Go-KaiOh will be getting a new Legend Machine combination, possibly movie-only formation, which could be the Varidreen from Goranger.  In fact if I’m not mistaken, the caption says Goreso-Go-KaiOh, but that probably isn’t the official name.

Anyway, here are the Sixth Ranger Keys,  some of them don’t have pictures for the back available yet.

No back, but probably the same as Hurricanger.

Again, no back, but probably just the Dekaranger symbol.

 Didn’t see that one coming!

His key is actually gold, not just yellow. Other gold senshi will have the same color.

Yes, both Go-onGold and Go-onSilver count as sixth rangers. This has already been established.

Well, there doesn’t really seem to be any real difference between these keys and the other Ranger Keys. There were rumors that some of the sixth rangers would have different symbols on the backs, but that only seems true for TimeFire. Of course, these probably aren’t the official Ranger Keys, since the back of the BattleKenya Key (not show) is green, when he has a black costume. Plus all of these keys have the same teeth-shape, so they’re probably just the same key re-worked in a program like Photoshop. Since DekaMaster now counts as a sixth ranger, who knows how many other Ranger Keys will either come out or appear in the series. So there may be a chance that other keys like X-1 Mask could come out.

Anyway, what do you think, are there any other Ranger Keys that you would like to see? I know it would be cool to see an AkaRed Key, even though it would be really redundant. And if anything else comes out, I’ll be sure to let you know.

-M.C, the Quantum Twin

UPDATE: (4/21/11) Hey, here are the rest of the Ranger Keys, just because.

just for the site.

While there isn’t a Bull Black Key front picture, the back of the key has popped up.

If anything else pops up, I’ll let you know!

Voltron Force: The new Nicktoon series rebooting an old favorite for those who just can’t let go of the 80’s.

Images from new Voltron Force animated series that will air on Nicktoons

I know I’m tardy to the party on this, but Nicktoons showed an ad today about the reboot of the popular 80’s series based on the anime Go-Lion. Nothing really pertaining to the show, but the series will be premiering sometime in June.

For those of you unaware (I didn’t actually know until today myself) VIZ Media recently announced a reboot of Voltron, and apparently the show was picked up by Nick. All part of a recent trend to modernize and reboot popular kid’s television series like TMNT, He-Man, Thundercats, and even Scooby-Doo and Looney Tunes.

Personally, I could care less whether or not they remake this. However, I would like to reiterate that Power Rangers IS NOT a ripoff of Voltron. The series Voltron is based off of the anime Go-Lion, which came over five years after the original Super Sentai series, Himistu Sentai Goranger. And by that point, transforming, combining giant robots had already been integrated into the series. So to everyone out there that still thinks that Power Rangers is a gaint ripoff, if you don’t believe me, GOOGLE IT!

Anyway, good luck to VIZ Media and Nicktoons, and unlike my feelings towards Supah Ninjas (why is this still a thing?) I have no animosity or concern that it might overshadow Power Rangers Samurai while the series is trying to recover, although they’ve been doing pretty well for the time being. Just wish someone other than Toys’R’Us would carry toys for it, for their sake more than mine.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot something……. OVER 5000 VISITS!!!!!!!!

Well, it’s more like over 5100 visits at this point, but still, OVER 5000 VISITS! WAHOO! Wait, wrong genre. How about YA DA! Anyway, here’s hoping for 5000 more! 😉 And be sure to keep coming back for all your favorite things. Never know when something new will pop up!
